Behind the doll, a gold leaf field glows against a black scalloped arch. The border is crimson with 幸 (happiness) kanji at the corners. Lucky coins with square center holes alternate with ornate mizuhiki knots — gold and red, braided and folded — across the top and bottom. Bamboo stalks line both sides in green and gold.
