apple-notebook-round-rug-death-note-chair-mat
Apple Notebook Round Rug - Death Note Chair Mat

A closed black notebook rests at the center of this Death Note round rug, a quill laid across its cover and a single glossy red apple pressed against the corner. The whole piece is laid out for the circle: a cream medallion field ringed by a black border of hourglasses and feathers, so nothing gets cropped at the edge.

Round shapes behave differently from rectangles. They soften the square corners of a room, give a reading nook a clear center, and settle beside a bed without fighting the furniture. Tucked under a desk, this one works as a chair mat for a study or streaming corner.

The Design: Ink, Apple and Hourglass

Everything is mirrored around the notebook, which gives the artwork the calm of a heraldic crest rather than a busy poster. Curling black feathers fan out on each side, while ribbon and fine chain loop around the cover as if the book were bound shut. Four red apples sit on the diagonals, with pairs of hourglasses standing between them. Chess kings guard the left and right edges. Crimson cross ornaments mark the top and bottom, and crescent moons and eight-point stars fill the gaps.

The palette is bone cream, ink black and deep crimson, with silver-gray hints in the chains and borders. That restraint sets it apart from louder character art: no faces, no action, just the objects a fan recognizes at a glance. A ring of hourglass medallions runs around the rim and frames the cream field like a dark picture frame. For a different take on the series, you can look through more Death Note round rugs in the same collection.

Notebook on the Floor

The rug is cut in a true circle with a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels pleasant underfoot and sits flat. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the piece stays where you put it. It is machine washable: a gentle cold cycle and air-drying are all it needs. The artwork is dye-sublimation printed, which sets the colors into the fibers.

A dark border around a cream center suits a bedroom with black furniture or a tidy desk corner. As a gaming room rug, it adds a moody centerpiece without shouting. At 140 cm and up it also reads as a round area rug anchoring a seating spot. Pair it with a matching Death Note mouse pad if the desk is part of the setup.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Choose 80 to 100 cm for under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the smallest size doubles as an accent rug. Pick 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a corner of a bedroom. Go to 160 to 180 cm when the rug is the center of a seating area, because the hourglass border needs room to show.

Standart Level: solid everyday quality.

Premium Level: a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Wash it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry; the dye-sublimation print is set into the fibers, so the notebook and apples stay put.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the rug stays in place under a desk chair.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The dark border keeps the circle clearly defined against a lighter floor.

Which size should I choose?

Go with 80 to 100 cm for a desk, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm for the middle of a seating area. The medallion is detailed, so the larger sizes show off more of the chess kings and hourglasses.

A Dark Study Statement

Death Note fans who want the series on the floor through its objects instead of its faces.

A gamer or streamer building a moody desk corner, who might also browse the wider anime rug range for pieces that sit alongside it.

A reader's nook with black shelves and crimson cushions.

A gift for someone who still talks about the apples and the chess match.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/apple-notebook-round-rug-death-note-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792761771
