cubone-moonlit-round-rug-pokemon-chair-mat
Cubone Moonlit Round Rug - Pokemon Chair Mat

Cubone stands at the heart of this Pokemon round rug, bone in hand, with a huge pale full moon glowing behind him and rocky ridges falling away on both sides. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a gold-edged medallion holds the scene, deep navy fills the field, and a teal border of bones and crescents closes the edge.

A round shape suits a quiet scene like this. It softens the corners of a square room, sits under a desk without fighting the furniture, and gives a bedside spot a focal point you can see from the doorway. Slid beneath a desk, it works as a chair mat that lets your chair glide over the print.

The Design: Moonlit Persian Medallion

The art borrows the ornament of an old Persian carpet and fills it with Cubone's world. Instead of a tiny sprite on a flat background, you get a painted, storybook look with soft grain in the color, like an aged page lit by candle. Two candles burn at the top and bottom of the field, white lilies climb curling vines, and little water drops sit between the blooms. Bones and crescent moons repeat around the rim, so the edge feels deliberate instead of decorative filler.

The palette is calm and a little wistful: midnight navy, deep teal, cream, antique gold and clay brown. Four small cartouches hold rocky peaks, while two more carry miniature full moons, echoing the big one behind Cubone. Nothing here shouts. It rewards a second look, and that is what sets it apart from the louder battle scenes in the catalog. If this quieter mood appeals, you can browse more Pokemon round rugs in the same collection.

Cubone on the Floor

The cut is a true circle, so the medallion stays centered whichever size you choose. The soft plush low-pile surface feels gentle underfoot and keeps the print crisp, because the dye-sublimation process sets the colors into the fibers rather than sitting on top. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When it gets dusty or a snack lands on it, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried.

In the larger sizes it reads as a round area rug with a clear center of gravity. Smaller diameters behave more like an accent rug beside a bed or a bookshelf. For a gaming room rug, the dark navy field also hides everyday wear and keeps the colors rich under cool screen light.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed. Choose 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kid's corner where the moon should stay fully visible. The 160 and 180 cm rugs can anchor a seating area, with the border of bones framing the room.

Two quality levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for regular use. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for heavy traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the moonlit colors stay as deep as the day it arrived.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so Cubone stays put even under a busy desk chair.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes.
