ed-cheering-round-rug-cowboy-bebop-chair-mat
Ed Cheering Round Rug - Cowboy Bebop Chair Mat

Ed sits cross-legged at the center of this Cowboy Bebop round rug, eyes squeezed shut in a huge grin, a laptop hoisted overhead with a green cat face glowing on the screen. Everything is laid out for the circle: a cream field of florals and gadgets wrapped in a rust-orange border of satellites and bullseye medallions.

A round rug has a way of softening a boxy room, and this one gives a desk corner or a sunny patch of bedroom floor a real focal point. Ed's pose already points inward, so the eye follows the laptop up to his face wherever the rug lands. It also sits happily under a desk chair.

The Design: Carpet Meets Cyberspace

The artwork borrows the look of a classic Persian carpet and fills it with Ed's little world. Teal and mustard blossoms curl around the central figure, while two smaller cat-screen laptops sit left and right like mirrored guardians. Floppy disks, aviator goggles, tiny red ships, butterflies and spotted mushrooms repeat in pairs, and paw-print flowers bloom at the sides. It is busy the way an heirloom rug is busy: you keep finding something new.

The palette stays warm and a little faded, with parchment cream, burnt orange, deep teal and flecks of gold that give the print an aged, inked feel. Around the edge, satellites drift between star shapes and concentric rings, a nod to the show's wandering-through-space mood. Compared with a straight character poster, this piece trades action for play, and that makes it easy to live with. Fans who love Ed's goofy side can browse more Cowboy Bebop rugs for the rest of the crew.

Ed on the Floor

The cut is a clean circle, and the surface is a soft plush, low-pile weave that feels friendly under bare feet. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays exactly where you put it. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the cream and orange from looking flat. When spills or dust happen, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. Pull a desk chair onto the center and it works as a chair mat, with the satellite border still visible around you. As a gaming room rug, it adds warmth to a setup full of cables and cool-toned screens.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the spot under a desk chair or beside a bed, and at that scale the rug doubles as a cheerful accent rug. The 120 and 140 cm sizes fill a reading nook or a kid's corner, where Ed's cross-legged pose feels right at home. Go to 160 or 180 cm and the piece becomes the center of a seating area, a true round area rug with the whole border on display.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for bedrooms and desk corners. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good call for busy spots or a chair that moves all day.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes.
