ewok-village-round-rug-star-wars-chair-mat
Ewok Village Round Rug - Star Wars Chair Mat

A hooded Ewok stands on a mossy mound at the heart of this Star Wars round rug, spear planted beside him while redwoods and ferns crowd in behind. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a forest portrait in the center, then a ring of thatched treehouses, campfires, drums and crossed spears, all held inside a gold and near-black leaf border.

Circles change how a floor feels. They soften the straight lines of a desk corner, tuck under a chair without a corner to catch, and give a reading nook or bedside a clear center. Under a desk it works as a chair mat that feels far kinder than hard plastic. Simple to place.

The Design: Redwood Village Ring

Think illuminated manuscript rather than movie poster. The composition works in rings, like a book of hours painted for a forest moon. At the center the Ewok wears a rust-orange hood and cloak and looks straight out at you, his fur painted strand by strand in browns and creams. Around him the second ring repeats a pattern: hooded cloaks in red-brown medallions, crossed spears on green panels, lantern-lit huts joined by rope bridges, a drum, a crackling fire. Gold compass stars sit between the panels.

The palette is moss green, rust orange, parchment cream and antique gold, with a near-black edge. It is warm and woodland rather than space-bound, which sets it apart from the usual starfield and starship artwork. If this corner of the galaxy is your favorite, the shop has more Star Wars rugs to build a whole room around.

Ewok on the Floor

The rug is cut in a true circle with a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels good under bare feet and stays low enough for a chair to glide across. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so it stays where you put it on wood, tile or laminate. The design is dye-sublimation printed, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving them on top, so the greens and rusts keep their depth. When it needs a refresh, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried.

Centered in a den, it acts as a round area rug with a story in it. Beside a bed or a sofa, a small one becomes an accent rug that picks up the wood tones in the room. As a gaming room rug it brings a calm forest mood that cools the glare of the screens.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm, 120 cm, 140 cm, 160 cm and 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central Ewok portrait stays in view. At 120 to 140 cm the rug fits a reading nook or kids' corner, and the ring of huts becomes something to study up close. The 160 and 180 cm sizes anchor a seating area, with the border framing the furniture around it.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for heavier traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it afterward. The printed colors are set into the fibers, so the forest greens hold their depth.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, which matters under a desk chair where the Ewok at the center sees daily traffic.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, on low-pile carpet. The rug lies flat over it and the backing keeps it steady.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 or 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm to anchor seating. The larger the rug, the more of the village ring you see around the Ewok.

A Forest Nook Statement

Fans of the Endor forest scenes who want a calm corner of the galaxy beside a reading chair.

Gamers and desk workers who want a softer landing under the chair, with a matching Star Wars mouse pad waiting on the desk above.

Parents building a kids' space with a woodland adventure mood.

Collectors and gift buyers shopping for someone who grew up with the trilogy, who can also browse movie and pop culture rugs for companion pieces.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/ewok-village-round-rug-star-wars-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792843534
