guts-eclipse-round-rug-berserk-chair-mat
Guts Eclipse Round Rug - Berserk Chair Mat

Guts stands at the center of this Berserk round rug, his enormous slab of a sword resting on one shoulder while a black sun burns in a storm of clouds behind him. Every element is laid out for the circle, from the scalloped crimson frame around the hero to the ring of crescent moons and blades that radiates out to the edge. The palette is charcoal, oxblood red, tarnished gold and one cold bone-white moon.

A circle behaves differently from a rectangle on the floor. It softens the corners of a square room and gives bare boards a focal point. Pulled under a desk, it works as a chair mat for a long gaming session, and beside a bed it looks like a dark shield laid down for the night.

The Design: Eclipse Under Filigree

This one is built like an illuminated manuscript. The central cartouche holds Guts in dense cross-hatched linework, his cloak torn to ribbons and his armor scratched and dull, with the eclipse ringed by dark cloud above his head. Around it, eight-fold symmetry takes over: blades point in toward the middle, armored gauntlets sit in red panels, small bonfires glow to the left and right, and tattered cloaks hang between the vines. Gold scrollwork and maple-red leaves wind through every gap. The effect is closer to a carved reliquary than a poster.

Where many fan designs lean on a single bright pose, this piece leans on ornament and mood. The eclipse is the quiet center of everything. If you collect the series, more Berserk rugs pair other moments of the story with the same dark, ornate care.

Guts on the Floor

The round cut keeps the border intact, so the circle of moons never gets chopped off the way it would on a rectangle. The soft plush low-pile surface feels gentle underfoot. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When the rug needs a refresh, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. Color comes from dye-sublimation printing, which sets the deep reds and golds into the fibers instead of leaving them on top.

Set beside a console shelf, it makes a strong gaming room rug. The smaller diameters double as an accent rug next to a bed or a bookcase. Go large and it becomes a round area rug for an entire seating corner.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63.0″) and 180 cm (70.9″). Keep 80 to 100 cm for under a desk chair or beside a bed. The 120 to 140 cm sizes suit a reading nook or a corner of a game room, where the border still shows in full. Choose 160 or 180 cm when the rug should anchor a seating area and let the eclipse sit at the middle of the room.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for most rooms. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for desk-chair use.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry; the printed colors are set into the fibers, so the dark reds stay deep.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the circle stays put under a chair or beside a bed.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The near-black border also gives the eclipse a clean edge against a lighter carpet.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 100 cm for a desk, 140 cm if you want the full ring of moons and blades visible in a nook, and 180 cm for a living-room centerpiece.

A Dark Fantasy Statement

Berserk readers who want the Black Swordsman on the floor instead of only on the shelf.

Manga collectors building a themed room, who can start with the wider anime rug range and add this as the darkest piece.

Desk setups that already lean on dark colors, where matching Berserk mouse pads carry the mood across the whole workspace.

A gift for someone who has read the series more than once and still talks about the eclipse.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/guts-eclipse-round-rug-berserk-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792760303
