kaworu-moonlit-round-rug-evangelion-chair-mat
Kaworu Moonlit Round Rug - Evangelion Chair Mat

Kaworu stands in still water under a crescent moon, one hand raised as if to catch a drifting musical note. This Evangelion round rug lays the whole scene out for the circle, with a central portrait ringed by piano keys, white doves, roses and scrolling ornament. The palette stays in dove gray, cream and deep oxblood red, with small rust-orange honeycomb accents.

A circle suits this piece because the artwork already thinks in rings. Beside a bed, the portrait reads like a small night scene waiting at your feet. Under a desk, it doubles as a chair mat with a quiet face in the middle. Soft edges, no corners to fight with a square room.

The Design: A Nocturne in Red

Think of a music box turned into a floor piece. Four curved piano keyboards sit at the diagonals, doves fly in the red panels between them, and white roses bloom in gray medallions that echo the moon-and-water scenes on the upper and lower arcs. Ribbons of sheet music wrap the inner frame, and a border of crescents and small red flowers closes the circle. The look is hushed and a little wistful rather than loud. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the circle stays where you put it. The rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the grays and reds even. It suits a bedroom rug spot best, though a study or a quiet corner of a living room works too.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63″) and 180 cm (70.9″). At 80 or 100 cm it works as an accent rug beside a bed or under a desk chair. The 120 and 140 cm sizes fit a reading nook, where the portrait and the full ring of piano keys show clearly. At 160 or 180 cm it becomes a round area rug for the center of a seating area. Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality, while Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes.
