puck-chestnut-round-rug-berserk-chair-mat
Puck Chestnut Round Rug - Berserk Chair Mat

Puck, the mischievous elf from Berserk, floats at the middle of this Berserk round rug with a glossy chestnut hugged to his chest and a wide, open-mouthed grin. Around him, a vintage botanical frame of curling green vines, red-capped mushrooms, acorns and butterflies is laid out for the circle, repeating in four quarters across a cream, parchment-toned field.

A circle is kind to a room full of right angles. It rounds off a corner, settles under a desk chair without fighting the furniture, and gives a reading nook a clear center. This one is gentle enough for a bedside spot, yet detailed enough to anchor a whole seating area.

The Design: Storybook Woodland Ornament

Nothing else in the catalog looks like this. Instead of dark ink and battlefield grit, the artwork borrows the look of an old botanical plate: sage green scrollwork, soft pink blossoms, small gold stars and a faint foxed-paper texture over the cream ground. The elf sits inside a scalloped gold frame, wings pale mint and see-through, bare feet dangling. Four chestnuts in spiky green burrs mark the compass points. A ring of round brown nuts and oak leaves runs along the rim. The palette stays calm, built from sage, cream, chestnut brown, rose and a touch of gold, and Puck's cheerful side gets the whole stage. Fans who want the grittier side of the series can browse more Berserk rugs in the same collection.

Puck on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low-pile, comfortable under bare feet and slim enough to sit flat over carpet. A non-slip rubber backing grips tile, laminate and hardwood, so the rug stays where you put it. It is machine washable: a gentle cold cycle and air-drying keep it fresh. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the fine linework and those pale mint wings crisp. Cut as a true circle, it works as a bedroom rug that softens the corners of the room. The smaller diameters make a quiet accent rug beside a dresser or a reading chair. Under a desk, the 100 cm size acts as a chair mat with a gentle fairy-tale mood. At 160 or 180 cm it becomes a full round area rug for the middle of a seating area.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm, 120 cm, 140 cm, 160 cm and 180 cm (70.9″). Choose 80 or 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed. Go for 120 or 140 cm in a reading nook or a kids' corner, where the border has room to show. Pick 160 or 180 cm when the rug should be the center of a seating area.
