sun-and-moon-medallion-round-rug-soul-eater-chair-mat
Sun and Moon Medallion Round Rug - Soul Eater Chair Mat

A wide-grinning moon hangs over a laughing sun, with two ribbons of smoke curling between them, on this Soul Eater round rug. The whole piece is laid out for the circle: one central medallion, a ring of small icons around it, and a border of tiny faces that runs the full edge.

Circles soften a square room in a way rectangles never manage. Tuck this one under a desk chair and the medallion sits right where your eyes land when you push back from the screen. Beside a bed, the outer border catches the lamplight.

The Design: Gold on Midnight Plum

This one reads like a hand-painted tarot card rather than a poster. Ink outlines, watercolor bleed and fine gold filigree vines wrap every symbol, so the surface feels aged and a little haunted. The palette is deep plum and near-black, lit by warm orange sun rays, buttery moon yellow and flashes of icy blue. Cream and lavender smoke trails drift down either side of the center, each one scattered with gold stars.

Look closer and the inner ring keeps rewarding you: pale skull masks, curved scythe blades, tall candles, castle silhouettes under arched windows and small blue soul flames repeat around the circle. The outer border alternates sun and moon faces, all grinning. If you want more of the series, browse the other Soul Eater rugs in the shop, where each design explores a different corner of that world.

Sun and Moon on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low pile, gentle on bare feet and flat enough that a chair glides over it without catching. A non-slip rubber backing grips tile, laminate and hardwood, so the circle stays where you put it. When it gets dusty, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, and you simply air-dry it. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top, so the gold and plum stay deep.

Slid under a desk, it works as a Soul Eater chair mat with plenty of character. In a bedroom it becomes a bedroom rug with a dark, moonlit mood. Pair it with a matching Soul Eater mouse pad and the desk setup finally looks planned.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters run from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit a spot under a desk chair or beside a bed, and they work as a bold accent rug on a plain floor. Choose 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a corner of a teen's room. At 160 to 180 cm the design becomes a round area rug that anchors a seating area, with the medallion right at the center.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it; the gold and plum tones hold because the color is set into the fibers.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips hardwood, tile and laminate, so the moon and sun stay centered even when a chair glides across the border.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The dark plum border also gives a clean edge against lighter flooring.

Which size should I choose?

Go with 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 140 cm if you want the whole ring of skulls and flames visible in a nook, and 180 cm for the full medallion effect in the middle of a room.

A Sun and Moon Corner Statement

Soul Eater fans who want the grinning sun and moon on the floor, not just on a poster.

A gaming or streaming corner that needs a dark, moody center under the chair.

Anyone building a bedroom around plum, gold and candlelight, with the wider anime rug range to mix in.

A gift for the friend who still hums the opening theme.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/sun-and-moon-medallion-round-rug-soul-eater-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792775853
