axolotl-medallion-round-rug-minecraft-chair-mat
Axolotl Medallion Round Rug - Minecraft Chair Mat

A pink axolotl drifts upward through a square pool of teal water, ringed by lily pads, coral and floating bubbles. This Minecraft round rug turns the pixel scene into a carpet-style medallion, with every ring of the artwork laid out for the circle. The creature holds the center, and everything around it repeats outward in tidy gold-framed tiles.

A circle behaves differently from a rectangle on the floor. It softens the corners of a square room and gives a gaming setup a clear middle. Under a desk it works as a chair mat, leaving a soft round patch of pile where your feet land. Here the axolotl sits right where your eyes fall when you glance down.

The Design: Pixel Pool Medallion

Think of an old patterned carpet rebuilt out of blocks. The inner pool is deep teal with tiny bubble rings, four green lily pads at the diagonals, and sprigs of pink coral and kelp standing on either side of the axolotl. Its gills fan out in pink, and its small face is just two dark dots and a tiny mouth. Sweet, quiet, a little funny.

The middle ring is where the artwork gets busy. Cream-and-gold cartouches each hold a single item: buckets of water, clay-brown blocks, purple, blue and pink coral, orange berries, green stalks and a patch of moss. The outer border runs on emerald vines, with orange and pink coral branches, blue bubbles and a brown-and-gold checkered edge. If you like the pattern, other Minecraft rug designs sit in the same collection. The palette here is teal, emerald, gold and bubblegum pink, which is a calmer mood than most block-world art. Crisp stair-step pixel edges stay sharp across the whole surface.

Axolotl on the Floor

The rug is cut in a true circle, with a soft plush low-pile surface that feels pleasant under bare feet or socks. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the circle stays where you put it. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving a layer on top. Spills and muddy sneakers are no drama, because the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. It suits a gaming room rug spot beside the desk, and it looks just as at home in a kid's bedroom.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed, and either one makes a cheerful accent rug by a door. Pick 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' play corner, where the whole medallion stays visible. At 160 or 180 cm the piece becomes a full round area rug that anchors a seating area or the middle of a bedroom.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good choice for high-traffic spots.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the pink axolotl and teal water keep their color.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate. Under a desk, the rug holds its place while you shift around in your chair.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The border and gold tiles stay readable even on a textured surface.

Which size should I choose?

Choose 80 or 100 cm if the axolotl should peek out beneath a desk chair. For a bedroom or a play corner, 120 to 140 cm shows the full medallion, and 160 to 180 cm suits a bigger room.

A Gaming Corner Statement

Minecraft players who want their setup to feel like a cozy build, alongside the wider gaming rug collection for the rest of the room.

Axolotl fans of any age, since the pink one in the pool is the star of the show.

A kid's bedroom or reading nook that needs a soft circle of color and a bit of pixel charm.

A gift for someone who spent years building worlds, ideally paired with a matching Minecraft mouse pad for the desk.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/axolotl-medallion-round-rug-minecraft-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792865394
