bebop-ship-medallion-round-rug-cowboy-bebop-chair-mat
Bebop Ship Medallion Round Rug - Cowboy Bebop Chair Mat

Seen from straight above, the Bebop drifts across a cream ground with its nose pointing left and orange flame streaming from the engines on the right. This Cowboy Bebop round rug wraps the ship in Persian-style scrollwork of teal, rust and mustard gold, and the whole composition is laid out for the circle, so the ship sits dead center while the border closes around it.

A circle softens a square room in a way a rectangle never can. Under a desk it works as a chair mat for your setup, and beside a bed or in front of an armchair the ornament pools around your feet like a small island of color. Nothing about it feels like a poster dropped on the floor.

The Design: Heirloom Carpet, Bebop Cargo

The idea here is an old heirloom carpet that somebody filled with the crew's belongings. Each motif repeats in mirror symmetry around the ship: ringed planets, saxophones, floppy disks, red fighter craft and skillets of green peppers all sit in matching pairs. Bonsai trees mark the four compass points, small paw prints trail between the flourishes, and music notes drift through the scrolls and along the outer border. Fans will spot every reference in seconds. Everyone else just sees a handsome carpet.

The palette stays warm and aged. Cream with faint foxing fills the field, a deep teal band frames it, and brick red and olive green pick out the flowers and the ship's hull. If you want to see how the rest of the crew looks on a circle, more Cowboy Bebop rugs are a short click away.

Bebop Ship on the Floor

The cut is a true circle, so this round area rug sits cleanly in a corner or in the middle of a room with no corners to curl. The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels pleasant under bare feet and keeps the printed detail sharp. A rubber backing grips hard floors, and the non-slip hold means the ship stays put when you step on the edge. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers rather than sitting on top of them. When it needs a refresh, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. It suits a bedroom, a study or a living room corner equally well.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The smaller two work as an accent rug under a desk chair or beside a bed. Choose 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a corner of the den, where the border stays visible. Go to 160 or 180 cm when you want the Bebop at the center of a seating area, with sofa legs resting on the teal band.

Two quality levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for spots that see heavy traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the cream ground and teal border keep their color.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the ship stays where you laid it.

Can I put it over carpet?

You can. It lies flat over low-pile carpet, which makes it handy for marking out a desk zone in a carpeted room.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, and 120 to 140 cm if you want the whole ship and its scrollwork on display.
