krang-scowling-round-rug-tmnt-chair-mat
Krang Scowling Round Rug - TMNT Chair Mat

Krang glares out from his glass dome, pink brain wrinkled into a scowl, tentacle arms draped over the rim of a gray hover pod. This TMNT round rug wraps him in a Persian-carpet frame, with the whole artwork laid out for the circle, from the dome at the center to the crimson border at the edge.

A circle changes how a room reads. Under a desk it gives your chair a smooth, round patch to glide across, and in a square den it softens the corners. As a chair mat it keeps that angry little face right where your eyes drift between tasks.

The Design: Ornate Carpet, Alien Cargo

The idea here is a mash-up. Silver filigree vines curl across a deep teal field in the symmetrical rhythm of an antique Persian carpet, yet the motifs tucked inside the scrollwork are pure Dimension X: gray planet-sized spheres with a single pink eye, canisters of glowing lime mutagen ooze, ringed purple planets, tiny flying saucers and ray-tech gadgets sparking green. Swirling violet portals sit at the four compass points, each wreathed in acid-green flames. The rest of our cartoon rugs keep the same playful spirit.

The palette is loud on purpose. Teal and crimson carry the carpet tradition, while lime, violet and bubblegum pink carry the cartoon mischief. Krang sits dead center, the one soft, fleshy shape in a field of ornament, so he pulls the eye first and the pattern rewards a second look.

Krang on the Floor

The round cut keeps the border unbroken all the way around, so the pattern never looks trimmed. Underfoot you get a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels good in bare feet and still lets a chair roll without catching. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the rug stays where you put it.

It is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried, which matters for a rug that lives under a chair or in a kid's play corner. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, so the magenta orbs and lime flames stay sharp wash after wash. It suits a gaming room rug setup, a teen bedroom or a comic-shelf corner.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63.0″) and 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed. The 120 and 140 cm sizes fill a reading nook or a kids' corner, and the 160 and 180 cm sizes can anchor a seating area, leaving the full border visible around the furniture.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for heavier traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and Krang's glare will stay as vivid as the day it arrived.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so even a rolling chair will not push the rug out of place.

Can I put it over carpet?

You can. It lies flat over low-pile carpet, and the ornate border keeps the scene readable against the surface underneath.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk, 120 to 140 cm for a nook or bedroom floor, and 160 to 180 cm if you want the carpet-style border to frame a whole seating area.

A Krang Fan Statement

Turtles fans who grew up on the Saturday-morning cartoon and still root for the villain with the brain.

A desk or streaming setup that needs a bold round area rug under the chair.

A kid's bedroom or playroom that wants an accent rug with a little sci-fi mischief.

A gift for anyone who collects retro cartoon art and likes it hidden inside classic ornament.

A gaming corner where a cartoon mouse pad completes the look.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/krang-scowling-round-rug-tmnt-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792843760
