stormtrooper-medallion-round-rug-star-wars-chair-mat
Stormtrooper Medallion Round Rug - Star Wars Chair Mat

This Star Wars round rug puts a single white-armored trooper at the center of a circular medallion, standing at ease in a gray hangar corridor lit by tall strips of white light. The artwork is laid out for the circle, with Death Stars, TIE fighters and Star Destroyers circling him in gold-framed panels on deep navy.

A circle changes how a room reads. It softens the corners of a square space, sits neatly under a desk chair and gives a bed or armchair a clear center to gather around. This one has no top or bottom to get wrong, because the medallion looks right from every side. As a chair mat it keeps the trooper facing you whichever way the chair turns.

The Design: Ornate Gold on Navy

Think illuminated manuscript crossed with Imperial hardware. Scrolling gold filigree winds around eight dark panels, and each one holds a piece of the Empire in cool silver gray. Four Death Stars mark the compass points, with TIE fighters and Star Destroyers filling the gaps between them.

Warmth is rationed. Small red slashes and red diamonds are the only hot color in the piece, so they snap forward against the navy. The trooper's white armor is the brightest thing in the circle, which pulls the eye straight to the center. A black outer ring alternates helmets with Imperial emblems, like a crest running around the rim.

It reads more like a family heirloom than a poster. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so it stays where you put it under a swiveling chair. The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the navy deep and the gold crisp. Best of all, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. Each rug is made to order.

In a teen's den or a home office, it works as a gaming room rug with real presence. The small sizes make a bold accent rug beside a bed. At the larger end it becomes a round area rug that anchors a living room seating group.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters run from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Choose 80 to 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed. The 120 to 140 cm sizes suit a reading nook or a kid's corner, where the trooper can sit in full view. Go to 160 to 180 cm when the rug is the center of a seating area, so the helmet border stays visible around the furniture.

Two quality levels are available. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for a desk, a bedroom or a den. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for busy spots.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Wash it on a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it; the print is set into the fibers, so the navy and gold keep their depth.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips hard floors, which matters when a chair keeps pushing across the trooper's hangar all day.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. That is handy in a den where you want the medallion to sit on top of the existing floor.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 100 cm for under a desk chair and 140 cm for a bedside or corner spot. Go to 160 or 180 cm if you want the full helmet border visible past the chair legs and sofa feet.

A Gaming Corner Statement

Star Wars fans who like the Empire's side of the story and want it under a desk or gaming chair.

Movie lovers building a media room, who can find neighbors for this piece in the movie pop culture rug collection.

Desk setups that need a finishing touch, where a Star Wars mouse pad makes a natural pairing.

A gift for someone who grew up on the original trilogy and still hums the march.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0945/8830/5694/files/stormtrooper-medallion-round-rug-star-wars-chair-mat-3.webp?v=1792843072
