This ace squadron Gundam TCG playmat stacks a rogues' gallery into a single collision, a hulking gold bruiser swinging wide, an elegant white funnel platform gliding above, a crimson commander unit cutting through the center with sabers lit, and a black heavyweight looming over them all with glowing eyes. Beam fire crosses the scene in green, red and cyan.
Busy art can fight a card table, so the palette does the peacekeeping. Rainbow washes stay soft at the edges of the mat, saving the sharpest color and detail for the middle band, which leaves your outer rows sitting on gentle cloud tones.
The Art: A Collision of Aces
Each machine gets its own light source, and that is what sells the chaos.
