My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
This Pokemon round rug puts Alakazam dead center, a gleaming spoon in each hand and the red gem glowing on his forehead. The artwork is laid out for the circle: violet rings ripple out from his feet, then a band of watchful eyes, open books and crossed spoons, and finally a teal border wrapped in gold scrollwork.
A circle suits a figure like this. It has no corners to argue with, so the medallion reads evenly from every doorway, and it softens a boxy bedroom or den. Slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat where the wheels glide across a patch of art. Set it beside a bed and it becomes the first thing your feet find in the morning.
The Design: Illuminated Manuscript Medallion
Think of a page from a spellbook rather than a poster. Gold filigree curls around every motif, the way a scribe frames a capital letter, and the whole piece sits on deep violet with a faint painterly grain. Alakazam's brown armor and pale cream mustache stand out against the glowing purple rings behind him. Four open books mark the diagonals, crossed spoons rest in teal pockets, and small eye emblems at the compass points keep watch. Crimson four-point stars and round violet gems add sparks of warm and cool.
The palette stays disciplined: violet, teal, antique gold and a touch of crimson. Most Pokemon art shouts. This one feels like a quiet ritual. Collectors building a set can browse more Pokemon round rugs in the same collection.
Alakazam on the Floor
The round cut follows the artwork edge to edge, so the border is never chopped off. The soft plush low-pile surface feels gentle under bare feet, and the dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors like wood, tile and laminate. When dust or a spilled drink happens, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. In a game corner it slots in as a gaming room rug without shouting for attention.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Choose 80 to 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the small size doubles as an accent rug. Pick 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner, which shows the full border of eyes and books. Go 160 to 180 cm when the rug is the center of a seating area, and it becomes a true round area rug that the medallion fully deserves.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for heavier traffic.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the violet, teal and gold stay rich.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so Alakazam stays put even when a chair glides across the border.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet, and the bold ring pattern gives the spot a clear edge.
Which size should I choose?
For a desk chair, 100 or 120 cm keeps the wheels on the art. Beside a bed, 80 to 100 cm is plenty, and in a seating area 160 to 180 cm keeps the eyes and books visible around the furniture.
A Study Nook Statement
- Pokemon fans who always kept the psychic type on their team and want the art to match that calm confidence.
- Gamers with a desk setup, who can pair it with a matching Pokemon mouse pad so the desk and the floor tell one story.
- Readers and students, since the open books and spoons make a fitting rug for a quiet study nook.
- Anime collectors who can explore the wider anime rug range to build a themed room around this piece.
