My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Calcifer sits on his stack of logs at the very center, wide-eyed and grinning, and this Studio Ghibli round rug builds the whole picture around him. Deep navy fills the field, scattered with gold stars, small flames and blue teardrop charms, and every element is laid out for the circle so nothing is cut off at an edge.
A circle changes how a room feels. It softens square corners and gives a bare patch of floor beside the bed a small hearth of its own. Slide a desk chair onto it and it works as a chair mat with far more personality than clear plastic.
The Design: Hearth Fire Meets Tilework
The art borrows from illuminated manuscripts and old carpet medallions. Calcifer's flame glows orange and gold against midnight blue, while scrolling vines, tiny red flowers and cream blossoms wind around him. Four black pans of bacon and eggs sit on the diagonals, a wink at the breakfast he cooks in the film. Cracked eggshells, blue teardrop charms and smoking brick chimneys fill the gaps between them. Quartered medallions in red, green and blue mark the top and bottom. The outer band turns deep forest green and repeats small Calcifer faces, bundles of firewood tied with red ribbon and gold stars. Ornate yet warm, it rewards a long look.
Fans who want a different Ghibli mood can browse more Studio Ghibli rugs in the same round format. Each one gets its own palette and its own scene.
Calcifer on the Floor
The rug is cut in a true circle. Its soft plush, low-pile surface feels gentle under bare feet and stays out of the way of doors and chair legs. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. It is machine washable, so a gentle cold cycle and air-drying deal with everyday dust and the odd spill. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving them on top, and the navy and orange stay deep. Hang it in the mind as a bedroom rug, or put it where a gaming room rug is needed beside a monitor and a tall lamp.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Choose 80 or 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where Calcifer sits neatly at the middle of a small circle. The smaller sizes also work as an accent rug by a doorway. Pick 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner. At 160 or 180 cm the border has room to show every flame and log bundle, and the piece becomes a round area rug under a sofa or a seating group.
- Standart Level: solid everyday quality for bedrooms, desks and hallways.
- Premium Level: thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for spots that see heavy traffic.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it flat, and the navy and orange stay as rich as the day it arrived.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing holds on wood, tile and laminate, so a desk chair can move across Calcifer's logs without the rug creeping away.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Thick shag underneath will make the edge curl, so keep the base layer short.
Which size should I choose?
Measure the spot first. A 100 cm circle suits a desk, 140 cm fits a reading nook, and 180 cm gives the full border pattern room to breathe in a living room.
