Grinning ear to ear with red eyes blazing, the shadow ghost lunges out of a star-streaked void in this Gengar Pokemon TCG playmat. The Ghost and Poison menace floats on a tail of purple smoke while gold ribbons coil around it. It looks caught mid-prank, halfway out of the dark.
Deep plum and violet dominate the table, then gold star-dust and green ghost-flames cut through the gloom. Your eye lands on that toothy grin first, every time.
The Art: A Haunt Among the Stars
Watercolor was layered dark and wet so the smoky body bleeds into the cosmic background with no hard edge. Faint gold glitter outlines the swirling ribbons, lifting the whole piece out of flat darkness. Hidden in the swirls sit Gastly and Haunter, the earlier stages of the line, plus a ghostly Shiny-toned twin up top, a treat for anyone who knows the evolution by heart.
Gengar at the Table
It plays as good as it looks. The 24 x 14 in (60 x 35 cm) standard tournament size holds a full setup of deck, prizes, bench and discard. Cards slide across the micro-fiber top and lift away without sticking, and the non-slip rubber base keeps the mat anchored through a tense late game. Dye-sublimation locks the color into the fabric so the darks stay deep and the print resists cracking and fade.
With Zones or Without Zones
