Ghostface Calling Round Rug - Scream Chair Mat

Ghostface lifts a corded phone to his ear while a blade rests low in his other hand, all framed inside a red and cream carpet medallion. This Scream round rug lays the artwork out for the circle: the hooded figure sits dead center, ringed by popcorn tubs, VHS tapes, suburban houses and cell phones, with a black border of tiny white masks running around the edge.

A circle changes how a horror corner feels. It softens square walls, gives a movie shelf or a couch a clear center point, and keeps the whole scene readable from every side of the room.

The Design: Heirloom Carpet, Slasher Icons

The idea here is a traditional Persian-style carpet that has been taken over by a slasher movie. Scrolling vines, small stars and crescent moons wrap around the central medallion, exactly like the ornament on an old heirloom rug. Then the details give it away. Every vine frames a VHS tape, a bucket of striped popcorn, a lonely two-story house or a chunky nineties cell phone.

The palette stays tight: oxblood red, bone cream, charcoal black and a few warm gold highlights in the stars and popcorn. Ghostface sits in the red field in a deep black robe, so the white mask is the first thing your eye lands on. Around him the cream ground stays calm, and the black outer border pulls everything back together. Quiet from a distance, full of small jokes up close.

Ghostface on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels pleasant under bare feet and lets doors swing past without catching. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the circle stays where you put it. When something gets spilled, this rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then you air-dry it.

The artwork is dye-sublimation printed, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of sitting on top. Reds stay deep and the fine linework around the masks stays crisp. As a bedroom rug it sets a dark, moody tone beside the bed, and in a den it ties together a shelf of horror DVDs.

Sizes & Rug Level

The rug comes in six diameters: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63″) and 180 cm (70.9″). Sizes of 80 and 100 cm suit a spot beside a bed or under a desk chair, where the medallion stays fully visible. At 120 to 140 cm the border of masks has room to breathe in a reading nook or a corner of a game room. The 160 and 180 cm sizes can anchor a seating area, with the sofa legs resting on the outer ring.

• Standart Level: solid everyday quality for regular use.
• Premium Level: a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the red and black will stay as rich as the day it arrived.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, which matters when someone is spinning a chair across Ghostface's cream border.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Very thick shag will lift the edges a little, so a low-pile base works best.

Which size should I choose?

Pick 80 to 100 cm if you want the central figure close to a desk or bed, and 160 to 180 cm if you want the full ring of popcorn, tapes and houses to anchor a room.
