My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Thors stands calm and upright at the heart of this Vinland Saga round rug, a fur-collared gray cloak hanging from his shoulders while green and violet northern lights ripple across the night sky behind him. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a braided knot ring frames the snowy fjord, and every panel around it follows the curve. He looks like a man who has already chosen peace.
A round shape reads softer than a rectangle on the floor. Set it beside a bed and the aurora becomes the first thing you see on a winter morning; slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat that keeps casters off the boards. In a cabin-style living room it also anchors an armchair by the fire.
The Design: Northern Lights Winter Ring
Where other pieces in this folder lean on sunrise gold or crowned heraldry, this one lives in frost: slate blue, bone white, pine green and the cold glow of the aurora. Around the central scene, small arched windows repeat the story of Iceland in winter, with striped-sail longships moored under snowy peaks, a log cabin with smoke curling from the chimney, still mountain lakes and single fir trees. Snowflake medallions and compass stars punctuate the cream border. Celtic knotwork closes it all in. It feels like an illuminated manuscript page drawn for a saga hall, with the quiet hero instead of the battlefield at its center. Browse more Vinland Saga floor rugs if you want to set it beside Thorfinn or Canute.
Thors on the Floor
The round cut keeps the outer knot border whole, so nothing in the frame gets cropped. Underfoot you get a soft plush low-pile surface that stays comfortable for bare feet on a cold night. A non-slip rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate. Spills and muddy-boot moments are easy to handle, because the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle before you let it air-dry. Colors come from a dye-sublimation print that sets the ink into the fibers, so the pale aurora greens and the snow whites stay crisp wash after wash. As a bedroom rug it suits a quiet, wintry room especially well.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters run from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). An 80 or 100 cm rug fits under a desk chair or beside a bed, where Thors and the inner ring read clearly. At 120 or 140 cm the longship and cabin panels come into their own in a reading nook or a teen's corner. Choose 160 or 180 cm to make it the round area rug at the center of a seating area. Two levels are available: Standart for solid everyday quality, and Premium with a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Run it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the snowy whites of the fjord scene come back clean.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No, the rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate. It stays put even when a desk chair rolls across it.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Deep shag will make it feel less stable.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside. Go 140 cm and up if you want the small longship and cabin panels to be easy to read from across the room.
A Thors Corner Statement
- Fans who count Thors and his "you have no enemies" speech as the heart of the series.
- A wintry bedroom or cabin-style den that needs one accent rug with a story behind it.
- A manga reading corner, where it can sit alongside picks from our wider anime rugs for anyone who follows more than one series.
- A study or gaming desk, where you can pair it with a matching Vinland Saga mouse pad so the desk and the floor tell the same saga.
