Spray explodes off its claws and tail, the crowd a sea of dots ringing the arena, beams of light cutting down through the night sky above. Drawn in bold ukiyo-e ink style, the pseudo-legendary looks caught at the peak of a championship clash.
The Art: Center Stage
Dynamic and graphic. Inked linework and watercolor build a curving stadium bowl packed with spectators, while a great crashing wave erupts at the base in classic woodblock fashion.
