Full Metal Alchemist Mouse Pads

A Fullmetal Alchemist mouse pad puts the Elric brothers, Roy Mustang's flame alchemy and the glowing transmutation circles of Amestris right under your hand. This collection gathers 24 original fan-inspired designs, from solo Edward Elric artwork and brotherhood scenes to five Roy Mustang designs and manga-panel layouts. Every mat is made to order in the size you choose, from a small mouse pad for a laptop bag up to long keyboard mats, a full desk mat that covers your whole workspace and even a chair mat for the floor beneath your seat.

All sizes share the same build: a smooth woven cloth top, stitched edges that resist fraying and a non-slip natural rubber base that keeps the mat in place. Below you will find the designs grouped by character and theme, a size guide in inches and centimeters, a plain explanation of how the surface performs, setup ideas, care instructions and answers to common questions.

Fullmetal Alchemist Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection

Few anime series are as instantly recognizable by their symbols. A chalk circle on the floor, a red coat, a steel automail arm and a gloved hand ready to snap are enough to tell any fan what show you are talking about. The designs fall into five groups.

Edward Elric: The Fullmetal Alchemist Himself

Six designs put Edward front and center. The Transmutation Circle design, one of the newest additions, builds the artwork around the array every alchemist in the series depends on, which makes it a natural pick if the circles are what drew you to the show. The Blue Energy design is all crackling alchemical power, while the Automail Strike design focuses on Ed's steel arm and his habit of turning it into a blade mid-fight.

The Alchemy Flame design and the Fullmetal Alchemist Edward Alchemy design both show Ed at work with his alchemy, each with its own color and mood. There are also two artworks that share the name Lightning Alchemy: one is listed under Edward Elric and the other under the series title. They are separate designs, so check the product photos to compare them before you choose.

The Elric Brothers

The heart of the story is the bond between Edward and Alphonse, and four designs are built around it. The Brothers Bond design and the Brother's Resolve design lean into that loyalty and the promise to restore what they lost. The Red Circle design places both brothers with a red circle motif, and the Dual Alchemy design shows them as a team, two alchemists working side by side. If you want a single mat that sums up the series, one of these four is the place to start.

Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist

Roy Mustang has his own corner of the collection, with five designs, including two that were recently added. The Ember Command and Inferno Command designs capture the colonel's authority with fiery color, while the Flame Alchemist design celebrates the title that made him famous across Amestris. The Flame Seal design points to the array on his ignition gloves, the source of his signature snap, and the Flame Duo design pairs figures in a flame-themed scene. For fans who consider Mustang the best character in the series, these five give you plenty of choice on a single theme.

Alchemy, Battles and Homunculi

Five designs focus on the action and symbolism of the series rather than a single hero. The Alchemy Circle design puts the circle itself at the center, a strong option for a clean or minimal desk. The Lightning Alchemy design listed under the series title brings energy and motion, and the Flame and Steel design, as the name suggests, contrasts fire with metal. The Brotherhood Battle design is full of conflict, and the Envy Form design gives the shapeshifting homunculus its own spotlight, a good fit if you like the darker side of the story.

Ensemble Cast and Manga Panels

If you cannot choose just one character, four designs bring the wider cast together. The Brotherhood Cast design gathers many of the series' characters in one scene, and the Minimal Heroes design does the same in a simplified, minimalist style. The Character Panels and Manga Panels designs split the artwork into panels, echoing the original manga. Panel layouts are practical on a desk, because there is no single focal point to hide under your keyboard. If you enjoy ensemble art built around a close-knit group on a long quest, our One Piece mouse pads gather another big adventuring cast on the desk.

Fullmetal Alchemist Mouse Pad Sizes

All 24 designs are available in every size below, from a compact mouse pad to large chair mats.

How to choose:

• Mouse only, or a mat for travel: S fits into a laptop bag and gives a mouse all the space it needs.
• Mouse plus a small keyboard: M or L. Both are long and narrow, and L adds extra space for wide swipes.
• Full keyboard and mouse: XL or XXL. XXL is better for a deep desk or if you rest your forearms on the mat.
• Whole-desk coverage: XXXL or XXXXL, ideal for ensemble scenes and panel layouts.
• Card games: the TCG Mat at 14 x 24 in gives you a dedicated play area.
• Under your chair: the chair mats at 80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm go under a desk chair on hard floors.

Before ordering, measure the width and depth of your desk and leave a few centimeters of margin on each side so the mat lies flat.

Surface and Build

• Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
• Base: 3 mm natural rubber with a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
• Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
• Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.

In practice, if you play FPS games at a low DPI, you sweep your whole arm across the mat, and an even woven cloth gives the same glide on every long movement. At a higher DPI, common in MMOs, RPGs and strategy games, your hand barely moves, and a consistent weave lets the sensor register small corrections precisely. For office work, from spreadsheets to drawing tools, the cloth offers steady tracking and a softer rest for your wrist, while the rubber base keeps the mat still when you shift your keyboard. The stitched border protects the front edge, where your wrist rests and where unfinished mats fray first.

Desk Setup Ideas for Alchemists

A Flame-Themed Gaming Battlestation

Put the Inferno Command or Flame Alchemist design on an XXL or XXXL mat and add warm orange accent lighting behind your monitor. Dark peripherals let the fire tones carry the whole setup.

A Focused Study or Work-from-Home Desk

The Alchemy Circle or Transmutation Circle design on an XL mat looks almost like a technical diagram, which suits a desk used for studying, coding or design work. It covers keyboard and mouse without making the space feel busy.

A Dorm Desk or a Gift

The Brothers Bond or Minimal Heroes design on an M or L mat adds personality to a compact dorm desk. Any design here also makes an easy gift for a friend who has watched Brotherhood more than once; if you are unsure of their desk size, XL is a safe middle ground. For a friend who treasures brotherly bonds in anime, our Hunter x Hunter mouse pads are another series worth a look.

How to Care for Your Mouse Pad

• Wipe spots with a damp cloth.
• For a deeper clean, the mat can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent.
• Air dry flat.
• No bleach, no tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.

Production and Shipping

Every mat is made to order once you check out. Production takes 1 to 3 business days, shipping takes 2 to 5 business days, and tracking details arrive by email. For questions about returns, see our returns policy.
