The surface provides balanced performance between speed and control. The micro-woven cloth texture allows smooth gliding for quick flicks and 180-degree turns while maintaining enough friction for precise micro-adjustments. This hybrid design works well across game genres—from tactical shooters requiring pixel-perfect aim to fast-paced titles demanding rapid mouse movements.
Yes. The rubber base uses a high-density compound that grips desk surfaces firmly. This includes wood, glass, laminate, and metal desks. The pad remains stationary during aggressive mouse swipes, keyboard movements, and accidental bumps. The 3mm total thickness also helps the pad lay flat without curling at edges, which can cause shifting during use.
The cloth surface works with all optical and laser sensor types. This includes mice from Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries, Zowie, Corsair, Glorious, Pulsar, and other manufacturers. Both high and low DPI settings track accurately. The consistent weave pattern prevents sensor skipping or acceleration issues that occur on some glossy or uneven surfaces.
Yes. All gaming designs come in both desk pad and floor chair mat versions. Chair mats are available in 80×120cm, 100×150cm, and 120×180cm sizes. They feature reinforced construction that handles rolling gaming chair casters without bunching or sliding. The same artwork prints on both products, allowing coordinated gaming room aesthetics.
Wipe the surface weekly with a damp cloth to remove skin oils and dust that affect glide consistency. Machine wash monthly using cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air dry flat—avoid heat sources and direct sunlight. Regular cleaning restores optimal tracking performance. The stitched edges and sublimation print withstand repeated washing without degradation.
Gaming Mouse Pads
A gaming mouse pad is the one piece of your setup that your hand touches on every single flick, drag and click, so it should fit both the way you aim and the games you love. This collection brings together more than 550 original fan-inspired designs drawn from over 40 game worlds, from Hyrule and the Lands Between to Summoner's Rift, Night City and the grim far future. It is built for competitive shooter players, MMO raiders, MOBA mains, cozy farm-sim fans and anyone who wants a desk that looks like their favorite game.
Every pad is made to order in the size you pick. The range starts with a small mouse pad for a laptop bag or a tight desk and runs through long and extended mats up to a full gaming desk mat that sits under your keyboard, mouse and everything around them. There is also a TCG Mat for card nights and three chair mats for the floor below your seat. Whatever the size, you get precision-stitched edges and a non-slip natural rubber base that keeps the mat where you put it.
If you are shopping for work, study or general use rather than play, our full range of mouse pads covers anime, art, nature and much more. This page focuses on games: a tour of the collection, a practical guide to choosing the right pad for your aim style, a size table, build details, setup ideas, care, shipping and answers to common questions.
What You'll Find in Our Gaming Mouse Pads
The designs are grouped below by genre, so you can start with the kind of game you play most. Every franchise has its own collection with the full set of designs, and each artwork comes in all eleven sizes.
Fantasy Adventures and Open Worlds
The Legend of Zelda is the largest series in the hub, with 60 designs. Map lovers can choose between Legend of Zelda Hyrule Map, Zelda Hyrule Royal Map and Hylian Scroll, while Skull Kid Glowing Wood and Majora's Mask Neon Woods lean into the eerie side of the series. Zelda Wind Waker Sail, Zelda Triforce Symbols and Zelda Classic Start Screen cover the bright, nostalgic end.
Final Fantasy follows with 30 designs, including Sephiroth Blade Draw, Final Fantasy VII Cloud Buster Sword, Elemental Summons and Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Battle. You will also find Skyrim Waterfall Ruins, Geralt Vineyard Ride from The Witcher, Kingdom Hearts Keyblade Legacy, Okami Amaterasu Sunrise Bridge and a set of Genshin Impact designs such as Mondstadt Horizon and Hu Tao Crown.
Soulslike and Dark Fantasy
For players who measure progress in deaths and bonfires, Elden Ring has more than 30 designs. Malenia Rose Vigil, Erdtree Dawn, Elden Ring Ranni and Elden Ring Lands Between Map are good starting points. Dark Souls adds Artorias and Sif and the Abysswalker design, and Bloodborne brings Bloodborne Hunter's Moon and Hunter Yharnam Streets.
The quieter, hand-drawn side of the genre lives in our Hollow Knight mouse pads, where Masked Legends, Moonlit Hollow and Hollow Knight Grove Glow suit a dim, moody desk. Diablo and NieR round out the group, with 2B Rain Portrait as a striking single-character pick.
Competitive Shooters and Tactical FPS
Shooter fans have Valorant, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch and Doom to choose from. Valorant Agent Roster puts a full line-up on one mat, while Reyna Soul Harvest, Omen Shadow Veil and Sage Jade Current each focus on a single agent. Counter-Strike players tend to like the clean technical look of Desert Eagle Blueprint and AK-47 Blueprint.
Rainbow Six Siege Breach, Overwatch Genji Hanzo, Overwatch Reaper and Doom Infernal Showdown bring more action to the desk. Since shooters reward big, consistent arm movements, these designs are often ordered in the wider sizes covered in the guide below.
MOBA and MMO Worlds
League of Legends has more than 50 designs, the second-largest group here. Poro Snowball and League of Legends Chibi Battle are playful, Thresh Chain Warden and Katarina Blade Dance are darker, and Star Guardian Cityscape, Teemo Sunset and Lulu Enchanted Forest are full of color. Dota 2 Hero Grid gives the other big MOBA its own wide composition.
MMO players can pick from World of Warcraft designs such as Lich King Frozen Vigil, Alliance vs Horde and the World of Warcraft Azeroth Map, or from RuneScape with Runescape Map and Runescape Vorkath. Maps are a natural fit for a long desk mat, because most of the artwork stays visible around your keyboard.
Sci-Fi, Survival and the Grim Far Future
Our Warhammer 40K mouse pads range from the tactical Warhammer 40K Galaxy Map to devotional pieces like Space Marine Scroll Saint and battle scenes such as Space Marines Assault, plus Skaven Council and Warmaster Ashen Host. Cyberpunk 2077 adds neon city designs, including Cyberpunk Neon Skyline Vigil and Cyberpunk Neon Racer.
Survival and post-apocalyptic fans will find Fallout Lone Wanderer and Fallout Warship Ruins, Rust Warzone Trio, ARK Center Map and the Bioshock Deep Sea design, along with a few Starfield pieces for anyone who would rather explore the stars.
Cozy, Retro and Platformer Picks
Not every gaming desk needs to look like a battlefield. Kirby has more than 20 designs, from Kirby Cherry Blossom and Kirby Underwater Adventure to Kirby Star Burst and Kirby Boss Rush. Super Mario Countryside, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Stardew Valley Town, Stardew Valley Crops and Among Us Space Drift keep things bright and friendly, and Pixel Art Sunset is a simple retro scene that suits a minimalist desk.
Action, Horror and Monster Hunts
God of War Blades of Chaos, Mortal Kombat Scorpion Chain Attack and Hades Lernie Showdown bring heavy action. For open-world crime and the frontier, there are GTA V Map, GTA V Cityscape Sunset and RDR2 Character Collage. Horror fans can choose Resident Evil Leon Intense or one of the Silent Hill designs, and Monster Hunter players have Nergigante Spike Fury and Thunder Dragon Confrontation.
How to Choose a Gaming Mouse Pad
Artwork is the fun part, but the right size and layout decide how the pad feels in play. These five questions will get you to the right choice quickly.
Low or High Sensitivity?
Your sensitivity setting decides how much room you need. If you play at a high sensitivity, a small wrist movement turns your view a long way, and a compact pad is often all you use. If you play at a low sensitivity, you aim with your whole arm, and a single 180-degree turn can carry the mouse across a large part of the desk. Arm aimers almost always want a wide pad, usually XL or larger, so the mouse never runs off the edge in the middle of a fight.
A quick test: sweep your mouse from one side to the other as if you were turning around in your main game, and measure how far it travels. Add some extra room on each side, and that is the minimum width your mouse area should have.
FPS Layouts vs MMO and MOBA Layouts
Shooter players often tilt the keyboard, push it to the left or pull it close to make room for long horizontal swipes. That calls for a wide mat with plenty of open space on the mouse side. MMO and MOBA players move the mouse less but click constantly, often with a side-button mouse and a full keyboard full of keybinds, and they may add a numpad, a macro pad or a controller to the desk. For those layouts, depth matters as much as width, which is where the deeper XXL and XXXXL sizes come in.
Full-Desk Coverage for Keyboard and Mouse
An extended mouse pad that runs under both the keyboard and the mouse turns your desk into one even surface. The rubber base helps hold the keyboard in place, and the mat covers the desk top beneath your gear. It also means the mouse never crosses an edge when you swing it toward the keyboard. If you like a clean, single-surface look, a large mouse pad in XL or wider is the easiest upgrade you can make.
Consistent Glide from Edge to Edge
What matters most in play is that the surface behaves the same wherever your mouse is. Every pad here uses the same micro-woven polyester cloth, so the glide in the center feels the same as near the edges, and your muscle memory carries over from one area of the mat to the next. Cloth gives a balanced feel that suits both quick tracking and careful micro-adjustments, which makes it a sensible all-round choice whether you play shooters, strategy games or both.
Battlestation and Streaming Looks
On a large mat, the artwork is the biggest visual element on your desk, and on stream it often fills the lower part of a camera shot. Think about your color scheme. Dark designs such as Bloodborne Hunter's Moon or Omen Shadow Veil blend into a black setup, while Kirby Cherry Blossom or Star Guardian Cityscape add a burst of color. Wide scenes and maps show best on the XXXL and XXXXL sizes, where most of the image stays uncovered.
Gaming Mouse Pad Size Guide
Every design comes in the eleven sizes below, from a small pad to an XXL mouse pad and beyond.
| Size | Inches | cm | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 11.8 x 15.7 in | 30 x 40 cm | Mouse only, high sensitivity, travel |
| TCG Mat | 14 x 24 in | 35.5 x 61 cm | Card games and tabletop play |
| M | 11.8 x 27.6 in | 30 x 70 cm | Mouse plus a compact keyboard |
| L | 11.8 x 31.5 in | 30 x 80 cm | Mouse plus a TKL keyboard with extra swipe room |
| XL | 15.7 x 35.4 in | 40 x 90 cm | Full-size keyboard and mouse, arm aiming |
| XXL | 23.6 x 35.4 in | 60 x 90 cm | Full keyboard and mouse on a deeper desk |
| XXXL | 19.7 x 39.4 in | 50 x 100 cm | Whole-desk coverage on 100 cm desks |
| XXXXL | 23.6 x 47.2 in | 60 x 120 cm | Whole-desk coverage on wide desks |
| Chair Mat S | 31.5 x 47.2 in | 80 x 120 cm | Under a desk chair in a compact space |
| Chair Mat M | 39.4 x 59.1 in | 100 x 150 cm | Under a desk chair with room to roll back |
| Chair Mat L | 47.2 x 70.9 in | 120 x 180 cm | Large gaming corners and wide chair movement |
Here is how those sizes match common gaming setups:
- Mouse only or travel (S): right for high-sensitivity players, laptop gaming and LAN bags. It covers the mouse area and nothing else.
- Mouse plus a TKL keyboard (M or L): both are 30 cm deep, enough for a compact or tenkeyless keyboard beside the mouse. Choose the L if you want more room for horizontal swipes.
- Full keyboard plus mouse (XL or XXL): the sweet spot for most players. The XL gives an arm aimer real width, and the deeper XXL adds space for your wrist, a controller or a headset stand.
- Whole desk (XXXL or XXXXL): one surface from edge to edge, best for a dedicated battlestation and for showing off a full scene or map.
- TCG Mat (14 x 24 in): sized for trading card games and tabletop sessions, and still a comfortable mouse pad between matches.
- Chair mats (80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm): made to go under a desk chair on wood, laminate or tile, so you can roll freely and protect the floor.
Measuring tip: measure the width and depth of your desk before ordering, then leave a few centimeters of margin on each side. That keeps the mat flat and clear of monitor arms, clamps and the desk edge.
Surface, Base and Build
Every gaming desk mat in the collection is built the same way, whichever design or size you choose:
- Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
- Base: 3 mm natural rubber with a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
- Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
- Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.
For gaming, the even weave means your mouse sensor reads the surface the same way across the whole pad, which keeps tracking predictable whether you run a low DPI for steady crosshair placement or a high DPI for fast menus and cursor work. The rubber base grips the desk, so the mat does not shift when you snap to a target or slam the mouse back to center. The stitched edges matter most where your wrist and forearm rest for hours, because they stop the border from fraying or peeling.
The same build works just as well when the game is closed. The cloth gives a comfortable, quiet surface for spreadsheets, coding and design work, and the fade-resistant print keeps the artwork sharp through long days of use.
Gaming Desk Setup Ideas
The Low-Sensitivity Shooter Station
Pair an XL or XXL with a full keyboard pushed slightly to the left, and leave most of the mat open for your mouse arm. Darker tactical designs like Desert Eagle Blueprint or Rainbow Six Siege Breach keep the focus on the screen, while Valorant Agent Roster adds color without crowding the view.
The MMO and RPG Command Center
Raids and long quests mean a full keyboard, a busy mouse and often a second screen. An XXXXL gives you one surface for all of it. Map designs such as World of Warcraft Azeroth Map, Elden Ring Lands Between Map or Legend of Zelda Hyrule Map make sense here, since you see the edges of the map around your gear all session long.
The Compact Dorm or Laptop Setup
Small desks still deserve good artwork. An M or L fits a laptop and a mouse, or a small keyboard, without taking over the desk. Bright picks like Kirby Star Burst, Stardew Valley Town or Among Us Space Drift keep a shared room feeling cheerful.
The Stream-Ready Battlestation
If your desk is on camera, choose a design that reads well from a distance, such as Cyberpunk Neon Skyline Vigil or Malenia Rose Vigil, and match it with a chair mat in the same artwork so the whole corner looks planned. If card games are part of your streams, a TCG Mat gives you a matching play area.
How to Care for Your Gaming Mouse Pad
- Wipe spots, dust and crumbs with a damp cloth.
- For a deeper clean, the pad can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle with cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
- Let it air dry flat.
- No bleach, no tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.
A quick wipe every week or two keeps the surface feeling consistent, especially on the area where your palm rests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these official video game mouse pads?
No. These are original fan-inspired designs created by Padloom and printed on our own mouse pads and desk mats. Padloom has no connection to the developers or publishers of the games that inspire them.
What size gaming mouse pad do I need?
It depends on your sensitivity and your desk. High-sensitivity players and laptop users are usually happy with an S, M or L. Low-sensitivity players who aim with the whole arm, and anyone who wants a full keyboard on the mat, should look at XL at 15.7 x 35.4 inches or XXL at 23.6 x 35.4 inches. For whole-desk coverage, choose XXXL or XXXXL.
Is a desk mat the same as a mouse pad?
A desk mat is a mouse pad large enough to hold your keyboard as well. Ours use the same cloth surface, rubber base and stitched edges at every size, so the only difference is how much of the desk you want to cover.
Is a large mouse pad better for gaming?
For many players, yes. A large mouse pad gives you room for low-sensitivity arm movements, keeps the mouse from reaching an edge mid-fight, and holds the keyboard on the same surface. If you play at a high sensitivity on a small desk, a smaller size works just as well.
Can I wash my mouse pad?
Yes. Spot clean it with a damp cloth, or wash it, including on a gentle machine cycle with cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Air dry it flat, and skip bleach, the tumble dryer and the iron.
Do they work with optical and laser mice?
Yes. The micro-woven polyester surface works with laser and optical mice and is optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings.
Will the mat slide around during play?
The 3 mm natural rubber base has a non-slip textured grip that stays in place on a desk, so the mat holds still through fast flicks and long sessions.
