Rust Mouse Pads

Frequently Asked Questions

There are several Rust designs available, created from our own original artwork and fan-favorite motifs. Each Rust mouse pad is made with sublimation printing, so the colors stay scratch-resistant and lightfast and the design will not peel or fade. Browse the variants above to see every Rust design we currently offer.

The Rust mouse pads come in everything from a standard size up to an XXL desk mat. The larger sizes cover your keyboard and mouse together and give the Rust design plenty of room to stand out. Whatever your desk or setup looks like, there is a Rust size that fits.

Yes. The Rust mouse pads have a smooth surface with even glide resistance that delivers accurate tracking at any DPI or sensor sensitivity you play at. Whether you make fast flicks or fine micro-adjustments, your Rust pad gives consistent performance with any mouse.

Your Rust mouse pad is easy to care for: just wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and skin oils. The non-slip rubber base and neatly stitched edges keep your Rust pad in shape for a long time and stop it from sliding around on the desk.

Absolutely. If you want to make your Rust design even more personal, take a look at our custom mouse pads. There you can upload your own artwork and create a one-of-a-kind Rust mouse pad exactly the way you like it.

Delivery time is made up of the production time plus shipping, because every Rust mouse pad is printed individually on demand. Once your Rust pad is printed it is handed over for shipping, and you receive a tracking number by email.

About This Collection

Rust Mouse Pads

A Rust game mouse pad from Padloom is made for players who know the feeling of waking up on a beach with a rock and a torch, and the even stronger feeling of logging in after a raid. This collection celebrates Rust, the multiplayer survival game, rather than the color, with five original fan-inspired designs: Sunset Squad, Warzone Trio, Poker Night, Blueprint Table and Sunset Terrain. Every pad is made to order in sizes from a small 11.8 x 15.7 in mouse pad to a 23.6 x 47.2 in desk mat, and three chair mats are available for the floor under your seat.

Every design uses the same construction: a smooth micro-woven cloth surface, precision-stitched edges that will not fray and a 3 mm natural rubber base with a non-slip textured grip, so the mat holds still when you flick to a sound behind you. Below you will find each design in detail, a size guide, what the surface means for your aim, desk setup ideas, care instructions and answers to common questions.

Rust Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection

Rust is a game of many moods. One hour you are farming nodes in silence, the next you are in a firefight at a monument, and later you are sitting around a furnace with your team arguing about where to build. The five designs reflect those moods, and they fall into three groups.

Squads and Firefights: Sunset Squad and Warzone Trio

Very few players survive long in Rust alone, and two designs celebrate the team you roll with. The Sunset Squad design, described in its title as a tactical survival team artwork, captures a squad against a sunset sky, the hour when everyone heads home with their loot before night falls. If you have a regular group that logs in together every wipe, this is the design that feels most like your crew.

The Warzone Trio design is all about combat. Trio servers are a staple of the Rust community, and three players is a size that can hold a compound, run monuments and still fit in a small base. As its name says, this artwork puts three survivors in a warzone, which makes it a strong match for a desk where you spend most nights in PvP. If your setup is built around aim, this is the one to look at first.

Life at Base: Blueprint Table and Poker Night

Not every hour in Rust is spent shooting. The Blueprint Table design celebrates the builder side of the game, where you learn blueprints, plan your base layout, design honeycomb walls and decide where the tool cupboard goes. Its title calls it a tactical builder design, so it is a natural fit for the player in your group who always ends up drawing the base on paper before the first foundation goes down.

The Poker Night design captures the quieter, social side of Rust. Between raids, players gamble at card tables, trade and share stories over voice chat, and some of the best moments of a wipe happen when nobody is fighting at all. This design is a fun pick for a desk where you hang out with friends as much as you play, and it also works well as a gift for a Rust fan with a sense of humor.

The Island Itself: Sunset Terrain

The Sunset Terrain design turns your desk toward the wilderness. Rust's procedurally generated maps are full of snowy peaks, dry deserts, forests and coastlines, and the sunsets over them are some of the most striking views in survival gaming. This design focuses on the landscape rather than the players, so it reads as calm scenic artwork and fits a work desk as easily as a gaming station.

The two sunset designs pair nicely if you want a matching set for a duo setup, one with the squad and one with the open land. Each design has its own palette and composition, so check the product photos before you decide. All five come in every size below.

Rust Game Mouse Pad Sizes

Each design comes in eight desk sizes and three chair mats. Compare them in the table, then read the notes below.

Size Inches cm Best for
S 11.8 x 15.7 in 30 x 40 cm Mouse only, LAN trips and travel
TCG Mat 14 x 24 in 35.5 x 61 cm Card games and tabletop nights
M 11.8 x 27.6 in 30 x 70 cm Mouse plus a compact keyboard
L 11.8 x 31.5 in 30 x 80 cm Compact keyboard with more mouse room
XL 15.7 x 35.4 in 40 x 90 cm Full keyboard and mouse
XXL 23.6 x 35.4 in 60 x 90 cm Full keyboard, mouse and wrist area
XXXL 19.7 x 39.4 in 50 x 100 cm Whole-desk coverage on wide desks
XXXXL 23.6 x 47.2 in 60 x 120 cm Whole-desk coverage on large desks
Chair Mat S 31.5 x 47.2 in 80 x 120 cm Under a gaming chair on hard floors
Chair Mat M 39.4 x 59.1 in 100 x 150 cm Chair with room to roll back
Chair Mat L 47.2 x 70.9 in 120 x 180 cm Large or corner desk areas
  • S: the mouse area only. Good for a laptop or a travel pad you can throw in a bag for a LAN weekend.
  • M and L: long mats for a mouse and a small keyboard such as a tenkeyless board. L adds width on the mouse side, which helps if you play at a low sensitivity.
  • XL and XXL: fit a full keyboard with a number pad plus your mouse. XXL is the deeper option, so your wrists stay on the mat during long sessions.
  • XXXL and XXXXL: whole-desk coverage for keyboard, mouse, headset and a notepad for base plans. The landscape designs look especially good at these sizes.
  • TCG Mat (14 x 24 in): sized for card games, and a compact pad for smaller desks.
  • Chair mats (80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm): go under a desk chair on hard floors, protect them from wheels and extend the theme from your desk to the floor.

Measuring tip: measure your desk depth and width first, then pick a size that leaves a few centimeters of margin on every side. A mat that sits inside the desk edges stays flat and looks cleaner.

Surface and Build

All five Rust designs are printed on the same pad:

  • Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
  • Base: 3 mm natural rubber with a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
  • Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
  • Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.

Rust is, at its core, a first-person shooter with heavy recoil, and that shapes the size you need. If you play at a low DPI and control spray with your arm, you want space to pull down and across without hitting the edge, so an XL or XXL is the practical minimum. Players at a higher DPI rely on small wrist adjustments and can use a smaller pad. Either way, the smooth cloth tracks evenly, and the rubber base keeps the mat from shifting during a hard flick. The other half of Rust feels closer to an MMO: inventory sorting, crafting queues, building menus and map markers. A deep mat keeps your keyboard and mouse on one surface for those long base-building sessions.

Outside the game, the same mat works for office tasks. The cloth is quiet, the stitched edge is comfortable under your wrist and the mat stays put while you type.

Desk Setup Ideas for Rust Players

The Wipe Day Battlestation

Choose the Warzone Trio or Sunset Squad design in XXL or XXXXL, give yourself plenty of room for low-sensitivity aim and keep a notepad on the mat for codes, base coordinates and raid plans. A headset stand and a second monitor for the map complete a setup built for long wipe days.

The Builder's Desk

If you are the one who designs every base, the Blueprint Table design belongs under your keyboard. Pair it with a whole-desk size so you have space for graph paper and a pencil, and keep it as your work desk on weekdays. It is a quiet nod to the game that still looks at home in a home office. If you prefer a moody, hand-drawn look for a weekday desk, our Hollow Knight mouse pads are a calm alternative.

A Gift for Your Teammate

Matching pads for a squad make a fun gift, especially if each teammate gets a different design. The Poker Night design suits the friend who never misses a card game at base, and the Sunset Terrain design is a safe choice for anyone whose desk doubles as a workspace. XL fits most desks if you are unsure. If your squad also plays a team MOBA together, our League of Legends mouse pads offer another way to match your desks.

How to Care for Your Mouse Pad

  • Wipe spots with a damp cloth.
  • The pad can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
  • Let it air dry flat.
  • Do not use bleach or a tumble dryer, and never iron the print.

Production and Shipping

Each Rust game mouse pad is made to order. We produce it in 1 to 3 business days, shipping takes 2 to 5 business days, and you receive tracking by email. For questions about returns, see our returns policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these official Rust mouse pads?

No. These are original fan-inspired designs created by Padloom and printed on our own mouse pads. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by the game's developer.

Is this collection about the game or the color?

The game. Every design here is inspired by Rust, the multiplayer survival game. The pads are printed in full color artwork, not a plain rust-colored finish.

What size is best for low-sensitivity aiming?

XL or XXL gives you room for wide arm movements with a full keyboard on the mat. If you want the entire desk covered, choose XXXL or XXXXL.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Spot clean with a damp cloth, or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Air dry flat, and avoid bleach, the tumble dryer and ironing.

Does it work with my mouse?

Yes. The surface works with laser and optical mice and is optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings.
