Frequently Asked Questions
There are several Okami designs available, created from our own original artwork and fan-favorite motifs. Each Okami mouse pad is made with sublimation printing, so the colors stay scratch-resistant and lightfast and the design will not peel or fade. Browse the variants above to see every Okami design we currently offer.
The Okami mouse pads come in everything from a standard size up to an XXL desk mat. The larger sizes cover your keyboard and mouse together and give the Okami design plenty of room to stand out. Whatever your desk or setup looks like, there is a Okami size that fits.
Yes. The Okami mouse pads have a smooth surface with even glide resistance that delivers accurate tracking at any DPI or sensor sensitivity you play at. Whether you make fast flicks or fine micro-adjustments, your Okami pad gives consistent performance with any mouse.
Your Okami mouse pad is easy to care for: just wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and skin oils. The non-slip rubber base and neatly stitched edges keep your Okami pad in shape for a long time and stop it from sliding around on the desk.
Absolutely. If you want to make your Okami design even more personal, take a look at our custom mouse pads. There you can upload your own artwork and create a one-of-a-kind Okami mouse pad exactly the way you like it.
Delivery time is made up of the production time plus shipping, because every Okami mouse pad is printed individually on demand. Once your Okami pad is printed it is handed over for shipping, and you receive a tracking number by email.
Ōkami Mouse Pads
An Okami mouse pad turns your desk into a scroll painting from Nippon, the mythic version of classical Japan where the sun goddess Amaterasu walks the land as a white wolf and restores a cursed world one brush stroke at a time. This collection of Ōkami desk mats brings together six original fan-inspired designs, from sunrise scenes to a map of Nippon, and each one is made to order in the size you choose: a small mouse pad for travel, long and extra-wide desk mats for full setups, mats that cover the whole desk, and three chair mats for the floor under your seat.
All six designs share one build: a smooth cloth top, precision-stitched edges that resist fraying and a non-slip natural rubber base that holds the mat in place. With a compact range like this, you can see every design below, followed by a size guide, what the surface means for gaming and work, setup ideas, care instructions and answers to common questions.
Okami Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection
Few games look like Okami. Its world is drawn in the style of Japanese ink wash painting, with bold black outlines, washes of color and a texture like paper, so the whole adventure feels like a living scroll. You play as Amaterasu, accompanied by Issun, a tiny wandering artist who rides along and never stops talking. Her signature power is the Celestial Brush: the action pauses, the screen becomes a canvas and you paint directly onto the world to make the sun rise, mend broken objects, bring withered trees back into bloom or cut through enemies. That idea of painting the world back to life is what makes the game such a natural fit for a printed desk mat.
The six designs fall into four groups, and four of them name Amaterasu in the title.
Amaterasu Sunrise and Sunrise Bridge
Sunrise is one of the first Celestial Brush techniques you learn: draw a circle in the night sky and daylight returns. Two designs take their name from it. Amaterasu Sunrise focuses on the goddess and the returning sun, the moment the game is built around. Amaterasu Sunrise Bridge adds a bridge to the title, a fitting nod to a world where you can paint missing pieces of a structure back into place. Both names point to warm dawn tones, which suit a desk with natural light or warm lamps.
The two titles are close, but they are separate artworks, so compare the product photos side by side before you choose.
Amaterasu Forest and Amaterasu Forms
Nature returns wherever Amaterasu goes, and blossoms trail in her footsteps as she runs. The Amaterasu Forest design, as the title says, places the goddess in a woodland setting, a calm and green option for a relaxed study or work desk. Amaterasu Forms, as its name suggests, is about the goddess in more than one form; check the product photos to see exactly how the composition is arranged.
If you want an Okami desk mat that keeps the focus on the white wolf herself, these two and the sunrise pair are where to look.
Celestial Brush Art
The Celestial Brush Art design is built around the mechanic that defines the game. On a mouse pad, that theme feels especially fitting: if you play the HD release on PC, brush strokes can be drawn with the mouse, so the cloth under your hand becomes part of every painted miracle. Brush-style artwork with strong lines also holds up well on large mats, where the strokes can stretch out across the full width of the desk.
Nippon Map
The world of Okami is a single, connected land of villages, fields, forests and shrines, and many players spent hours studying its map to track down every hidden item. The Nippon Map design takes its name from that world map, making it the pick for explorers and completionists. A map layout spreads detail evenly across the surface, so it looks good on any size from a small pad to an XXXXL desk mat, and part of it stays visible around your keyboard and hands. Explorers who love sweeping fantasy maps and hidden secrets may also enjoy our The Legend of Zelda mouse pads.
Okami Mouse Pad Sizes
All six designs come in the same eleven sizes: eight for the desk and three chair mats.

| Chair Mat M | 39.4 x 59.1 in | 100 x 150 cm | Desk chair with more rolling room |
| Chair Mat L | 47.2 x 70.9 in | 120 x 180 cm | Large desk areas and corner desks |
- S: a pad for the mouse alone, easy to take to class, the office or on a trip.
- M and L: long, slim mats for a mouse and a small keyboard, such as a compact or tenkeyless board. L adds extra room on the mouse side.
- XL and XXL: the sizes for a full keyboard with number pad plus a mouse. XXL is deeper, so your wrists rest on the cloth as well.
- XXXL and XXXXL: whole-desk coverage with space for a notebook, a controller or a sketchbook. XXXL is wider than XXL but shallower, a good match for long desks.
- TCG Mat (14 x 24 in): sized for card games and useful as a compact mat for small setups.
- Chair mats (80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm): made to sit under a desk chair on hard floors.
Before ordering, measure the depth and width of your desk and leave a few centimeters of margin on each side so the mat lies flat.
Surface and Build
Every pad in this collection uses the same construction:
- Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; it works with laser and optical mice.
- Base: 3 mm natural rubber, non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
- Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
- Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.
For gaming, size matters as much as the surface. In FPS games, low-DPI players aim with their whole arm, so XL or larger keeps every sweep on the cloth. High-DPI players move from the wrist and often feel at home on M or L. In action games, MMOs and RPGs with plenty of keybinds, an XXL or bigger mat keeps keyboard and mouse on one continuous surface, and the rubber base stops it from sliding. For drawing-style input such as brush strokes, a smooth, even surface helps your lines go where you intend.
For work and study, the cloth is quiet under the mouse, soft under your forearms and easy to keep clean, and a large mat gives a plain desk a much calmer, more finished look.
Okami Desk Setup Ideas
Ink Wash Gaming Battlestation
Let the art style set the tone. Celestial Brush Art or Amaterasu Sunrise on an XXL desk mat pairs beautifully with a white or cream keyboard, a wooden desk and soft lighting, a calm alternative to the usual dark gaming setup.
Artist or Creative Workspace
A game about painting belongs on an artist's desk. Use an XL or larger mat under a drawing tablet and keyboard, and pick the Amaterasu Forest design for a quiet, green backdrop during long creative sessions.
A Gift for an Okami Fan
For the friend who still talks about the first time they painted the sun back into the sky, the Nippon Map or Amaterasu Sunrise Bridge design makes a thoughtful present. If you do not know their desk size, XL fits most setups. If they also enjoy monster battles with a Japanese flavor, our Monster Hunter mouse pads make a good companion piece.
