Frequently Asked Questions
There are several Doom designs available, created from our own original artwork and fan-favorite motifs. Each Doom mouse pad is made with sublimation printing, so the colors stay scratch-resistant and lightfast and the design will not peel or fade. Browse the variants above to see every Doom design we currently offer.
The Doom mouse pads come in everything from a standard size up to an XXL desk mat. The larger sizes cover your keyboard and mouse together and give the Doom design plenty of room to stand out. Whatever your desk or setup looks like, there is a Doom size that fits.
Yes. The Doom mouse pads have a smooth surface with even glide resistance that delivers accurate tracking at any DPI or sensor sensitivity you play at. Whether you make fast flicks or fine micro-adjustments, your Doom pad gives consistent performance with any mouse.
Your Doom mouse pad is easy to care for: just wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and skin oils. The non-slip rubber base and neatly stitched edges keep your Doom pad in shape for a long time and stop it from sliding around on the desk.
Absolutely. If you want to make your Doom design even more personal, take a look at our custom mouse pads. There you can upload your own artwork and create a one-of-a-kind Doom mouse pad exactly the way you like it.
Delivery time is made up of the production time plus shipping, because every Doom mouse pad is printed individually on demand. Once your Doom pad is printed it is handed over for shipping, and you receive a tracking number by email.
Doom Mouse Pads
A Doom mouse pad puts the Slayer, the hordes of Hell and more than three decades of rip-and-tear history right under your hand. Padloom's collection has nine original fan-inspired designs, from a retro-styled tribute to full-scale hellfire battles, and every one is made to order in sizes that range from a small mouse pad to a full desk mat, with three chair mats for the floor.
Whichever design you choose, the build is the same: a smooth micro-woven cloth surface that works at any DPI, precision-stitched edges that will not fray and a 3 mm natural rubber base with a non-slip textured grip. That grip matters in a game this fast, where a pad that shifts mid-fight costs you a clean flick. Below you will find each design, a size guide, notes on the surface for shooters and office use, setup ideas, care instructions and answers to common questions.
Doom Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection
The nine designs split naturally into three groups: the Slayer himself, the endless demon hordes he cuts through, and the burning arenas and symbols of Hell. The titles lean heavily on fire, armies and showdowns, so expect a range built for players who like their desk loud rather than minimal.
The Slayer: Victory, Onslaught and Retro Art
Four designs put the series' silent protagonist at the center. The Slayer Victory design celebrates the moment after the fight, when the last demon falls and the arena goes quiet. The Slayer Onslaught design is the opposite, the charge into a room full of enemies that defines the modern games. The Slayer's Army design, as the name suggests, imagines him at the head of a force rather than fighting alone. For players who started on the 1993 original, the Slayer Retro Art design is a tribute to the series' early look and a good fit for a desk that already has a retro shelf or a classic PC nearby.
Hordes of Hell: Hellspawn Horde and Hell Horde
Doom is never about one enemy at a time, and two designs reflect that. The Hellspawn Horde and Hell Horde designs are separate artworks with similar names, both built around the mass of demons that pours out of every portal. They suit a wide desk mat best, because a crowd scene needs width to read properly. On an XL or XXL, your keyboard covers one side and the horde stays visible on the other, right where your mouse hand works.
Hellfire, Sigils and Showdowns
The remaining three designs focus on Hell itself. The Hellfire Battle design throws you into a fight surrounded by flames, while the Infernal Showdown design is named for the kind of face-off that closes out the big moments of a campaign. The Hell Sigil design takes its theme from the occult symbols that mark the walls of the series' hellish levels. If you want something that looks bold without a busy battle scene, the sigil is the calmer choice.
Not sure which group suits you? Think about how much of the mat will actually be visible. On a compact setup where the keyboard covers most of the surface, a design with one clear focal point, such as Slayer Victory or Hell Sigil, still reads well in the gap beside your mouse. On a large desk mat with plenty of open space, the crowded scenes of the two horde designs and Hellfire Battle have room to show their full detail, and the high-definition print keeps the smaller figures sharp. If you like your shooters set in a grimy, neon-lit future instead of Hell, our Cyberpunk 2077 mouse pads are a good next stop.
Doom Mouse Pad Sizes
All nine designs are offered in the same eleven sizes. Shooter players tend to buy larger than they first expect, so check the guide before you decide.
| Size | Inches | cm | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 11.8 x 15.7 in | 30 x 40 cm | Mouse only, travel and small desks |
| TCG Mat | 14 x 24 in | 35.5 x 61 cm | Card games and tabletop nights |
| M | 11.8 x 27.6 in | 30 x 70 cm | Mouse plus a small keyboard |
| L | 11.8 x 31.5 in | 30 x 80 cm | Mouse plus a small keyboard, more swipe room |
| XL | 15.7 x 35.4 in | 40 x 90 cm | Full keyboard and mouse |
| XXL | 23.6 x 35.4 in | 60 x 90 cm | Full keyboard and mouse with wrist room |
| XXXL | 19.7 x 39.4 in | 50 x 100 cm | Most of the desk |
| XXXXL | 23.6 x 47.2 in | 60 x 120 cm | Whole-desk coverage |
| Chair Mat S | 31.5 x 47.2 in | 80 x 120 cm | Under a desk chair on hard floors |
| Chair Mat M | 39.4 x 59.1 in | 100 x 150 cm | Under a desk chair with more roll-back room |
| Chair Mat L | 47.2 x 70.9 in | 120 x 180 cm | Under a desk chair in a large workspace |
- S covers mouse-only use and travel. It is the easiest size to pack for a LAN party.
- M and L fit your mouse and a small keyboard. L gives your mouse a little more room for side-to-side swipes.
- XL and XXL fit a full keyboard and mouse. If you play at low sensitivity, these are the sizes to start with.
- XXXL and XXXXL cover the whole desk, a clean look if you want one continuous image under everything.
- TCG Mat (14 x 24 in) is the right shape for card games and tabletop sessions.
- Chair mats (80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm) sit under your desk chair on hard floors.
A quick measuring tip: check your desk depth and width with a tape measure and leave a few centimeters of margin, so the edges of the mat stay on the desk and do not curl over the front.
Surface and Build
- Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
- Base: 3 mm natural rubber, a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
- Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
- Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.
Doom is one of the fastest shooters around, built on constant movement, quick target switching and big turns to face whatever just spawned behind you. Many FPS players use a low DPI and aim with the whole arm, which takes space: a 180-degree turn can need most of the width of an XL. A large cloth mat gives that turn room to finish, and the rubber base stops the mat from sliding when you snap the mouse back.
If you play at a high DPI, small wrist movements do the work and an M or L pad is enough. MMO and strategy players, who click more than they swipe, will be comfortable on any size. For office work, the same smooth surface handles spreadsheets and design tools, and an XL or bigger keeps your keyboard and mouse at one height on a single mat.
Desk Setup Ideas with a Doom Mouse Pad
Shooter Battlestation
Build around an XXL or XXXL mat in the Hellfire Battle or Slayer Onslaught design, then add red or orange accent lights and a dark keyboard. The result looks like the inside of a demonic fortress, and the large surface gives your low-sensitivity aim all the room it needs. If your library also covers modern military shooters, our Call of Duty mouse pads suit the same kind of desk.
Retro Corner
If your shelf holds old game boxes or a vintage PC, the Slayer Retro Art design ties the desk to the series' roots. A medium or large size keeps it understated next to a compact keyboard. One of our gaming rugs on the floor ties the whole corner together.
A Gift for a Doom Fan
For the friend who still talks about their first time hearing that soundtrack, a Doom mouse pad makes a practical gift they will use every day. An XL suits most standard desks, and the Slayer Victory design works whether they started in the nineties or with the newer games. If they also play team-based hero shooters, our Overwatch mouse pads make a nice second gift.
How to Care for Your Mouse Pad
- Wipe spots with a damp cloth as soon as you notice them.
- The pad can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
- Let it air dry flat.
- Avoid bleach and the tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.
