Product Description
Absol stands on a rocky summit with its white mane swept to one side and red eyes locked on the viewer, a huge full moon glowing behind its curved crescent blade. This Pokemon round rug is laid out for the circle: the scene sits inside a scalloped center frame, and rings of teal, gold and cream ornament carry the eye out to the edge.
A circle suits a lone figure on a peak. It softens the hard corners of a square room, settles under a desk chair without fuss, and fills a reading nook or the space beside a bed like a pool of moonlight. Under a chair, the smaller diameters work as a chair mat that keeps the artwork centered right where you sit.
The Design: Moonlit Mountain Medallion
The artwork borrows the look of an old illuminated carpet and gives it a night-sky palette. Midnight navy fills the field, snow white carries Absol and the clouds, and antique gold outlines every frame. Deep teal wraps the outer ring, where crescent moons, eight-point stars and silver scrollwork repeat all the way around.
Between the center scene and the border runs a ring of small panels. Some hold snowflakes, some hold jagged mountain ridges, some hold pale moons, and jeweled ovals in red and blue punctuate the pattern like clock marks. Choose 80 or 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central Absol scene fits neatly inside the footprint. Go 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner, where the border has room to show. At 160 to 180 cm the rug becomes the center of a seating area, and the snowflake and moon panels spread out like the field of a real carpet. A small one doubles as an accent rug by the bed.
