Aegislash hovers in shield form above a misty field of fallen swords and broken shields, its gold crown and single eye glowing beneath a blood-red sun. This Pokemon poster renders the Royal Sword Pokémon in Japanese ink-and-watercolor style on aged paper, with crimson cloud washes, gray fog, a red title cartouche and seal stamp, and it is printed to order. Moss creeps over the old blades below.
Dark fantasy fans will feel right at home with this one. Red sky, gray ground and gold armor give it a heavy, solemn mood that works as gaming room decor alongside souls-like games or tabletop shelves. It also fits a study with dark wood and leather.
The Artwork: The Sword Graveyard
Swords lean out of the ground at every angle, rendered in quick gray strokes with green moss and rusted hilts. Behind them, layered fog washes dissolve the horizon, so the field seems to stretch on forever. Aegislash floats in the clear space above, its shield painted with gold and violet triple-swirl detail and its cloth-like arms streaming red and purple. A low red sun in the upper left balances the composition. Within this ink-wash series it is the most somber design and the clearest nod to old war scrolls.
