Akuma crouches low before a mountain temple, fist planted in shattered stone and the Ten kanji blazing on his back, on this Akuma MTG playmat. Crimson lightning splits the sky. Stone guardian statues glare from the stairs behind him.
Red and magenta storm clouds fill the top half; purple smoke and dark stone fill the bottom. Everything leans toward deep, saturated tones, so light-colored sleeves pop. That glowing kanji, center right, is impossible to miss.
The Art: Raging Demon Storm
Painted with heavy contrast and a gritty digital finish, every muscle and scar on his arms is rendered in detail, down to the rope wraps on his wrists.
