Allay Amethyst Round Rug - Minecraft Chair Mat

The Allay hovers at the heart of this Minecraft round rug, a pixel-art helper in glowing light blue with its wings spread and a cookie held close to its chest. Around it, amethyst clusters, note blocks and cornflowers repeat in the rhythm of a woven carpet, and the whole artwork is laid out for the circle so nothing gets clipped at the edge.

A round shape softens a boxy room. Under a desk chair it gives the wheels a smooth place to glide, and beside a bed it gives bare feet something warm to land on in the morning. Few designs ask to be admired from above quite like this one.

The Design: Pixel Carpet Medallion

Instead of dropping the Allay into a landscape, this piece sets it inside a medallion of the kind you would find on a traditional carpet, only built from square pixels. A navy night sky with tiny stars and floating music notes fills the center, ringed by violet amethyst crystals. Beyond that ring, diamond panels in teal and cream hold note blocks, golden cookies, pale blue cornflowers and icy wing shapes. A dark chocolate border with a gold vine pattern closes the circle, broken up by amethyst shards and little blue notes.

The palette runs cool in the middle and warm at the rim, which keeps the whole thing from reading flat. Fans will spot every reference, from the song-loving helper to the cookie it carries. If you want a different mob or biome, you can browse the other Minecraft rugs in the shop.

Allay on the Floor

The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels gentle underfoot and keeps the pixel edges crisp. The print is dye-sublimation, so the colors are set into the fibers instead of sitting on top. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When the rug needs a refresh, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then you air-dry it.

Used as a chair mat, the smaller sizes give a gaming seat a defined spot and a splash of color. In a bigger size it works as a round area rug that anchors a whole corner. Pick a smaller one and it becomes an accent rug beside a bed or a bookshelf. Either way, it is a natural gaming room rug.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed. Choose 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kids' corner, where the medallion has room to breathe. At 160 to 180 cm the rug becomes the center of a seating area.

Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for daily use. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for heavy traffic or a favorite spot.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the pixel colors stay sharp because the dye is set into the fibers.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so a rolling chair or a quick run across the room will not send the Allay sliding.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes. It lies flat over low-pile carpet, and the round edge keeps its shape against the surrounding floor.

Which size should I choose?

Go 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm if you want the full medallion to command the room.
