Baroque Ghosts Round Rug - Pac-Man Chair Mat

Pac-Man sits at the heart of this Pac-Man round rug, mouth open toward a row of pale dots, while four ghosts and a ripe cherry wait in their own black frames around him. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a gold-edged medallion in the center, six smaller panels orbiting it, and a deep navy border of blue maze corners and gold beads that follows the rim.

A circle changes how an arcade motif reads on the floor. Corners disappear, so the maze becomes a ring you can walk around, and the rug settles beside a bed or in front of an armchair without fighting the lines of the furniture. Slide a gaming chair across the low pile and it works as a chair mat too, with the medallion framed neatly between the wheels.

The Design: Gilded Arcade Medallion

Most Pac-Man art is flat and neon. This piece borrows from a different tradition, the inlaid marble tabletop and the illuminated manuscript. Acanthus scrollwork in antique gold winds across a midnight-blue ground, and every character sits inside a scalloped black frame traced with a thin gilt line. Pinky in pink and Blinky in red hold the left side, Clyde in orange and Inky in cyan hold the right, and the cherry crowns the top. Below, a cluster of cream power pellets glows beside a tiny second Pac-Man and a blue maze corner. Four colors carry the whole composition, yellow, black, gold and navy, and the ghosts land as small bright jolts. If the ornate look suits you, browse more Pac-Man round rugs in other moods.

Pac-Man on the Floor

The cut is a true circle with a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels good under bare feet. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the rug stays put when a chair spins over it. Spills happen near a gaming desk, and this one is machine washable. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers, so the yellow stays sunny and the gold keeps its glow. It also lies flat over low-pile carpet.

Treated as a round area rug, the larger sizes anchor a whole seating zone. The smaller diameters work as an accent rug beside a bed or a shelf of retro cartridges. In a den or basement it becomes a gaming room rug that reads as decor rather than merchandise.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters run from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″), with 100, 120, 140 and 160 cm in between. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit a spot under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central Pac-Man stays visible around the chair legs. Pick 120 or 140 cm for a reading nook or a kid's corner. At 160 and 180 cm the rug becomes the center of a seating area, and the scrollwork is easy to study up close.

Two levels are offered. Standart is solid everyday quality. Premium adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry; the print is set into the fibers, so the gold and yellow stay put.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, which matters when a gaming chair swivels across the ghost panels.

Can I put it over carpet?

Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet, and the dark center makes the yellow Pac-Man stand out against neutral carpet colors.

Which size should I choose?

For a desk, choose 100 or 120 cm so the chair stays on the rug. For a bedroom or playroom floor, 140 to 160 cm shows off all six panels.
