C-3PO stands alone on a Tatooine dune, golden and a little worried, while two suns hang low in a peach sky behind him. This Star Wars round rug sets that moment inside a scalloped window and wraps it in navy-and-gold ornament, so the whole artwork is laid out for the circle.
A round shape behaves differently from a rectangle. It softens the corners of a square room, tucks under a desk chair without snagging on the legs and gives a reading nook a clear center. Used as a chair mat, the medallion sits right where your eyes land when you push back from the desk.
The Design: Gilded Droid Medallion
Think illuminated manuscript rather than movie poster. The droid is painted in warm brass with one silver lower leg, a detail fans spot at once, and he faces you with those wide glowing eyes. Around him, a quatrefoil frame holds back a field of dark navy where gold vines curl through tiny stars.
Four small lozenges carry the twin suns, one pale and one amber. Oil cans sit in round cartouches at the diagonals, gear wheels turn between them, and a gilded Rebel starbird marks the top and bottom. At each side a pale starship silhouette rests in its own panel. The black outer band repeats cogs and amber orbs like beads on a string.
