Product Description
Calcifer sits on his stack of logs at the very center, wide-eyed and grinning, and this Studio Ghibli round rug builds the whole picture around him. Deep navy fills the field, scattered with gold stars, small flames and blue teardrop charms, and every element is laid out for the circle so nothing is cut off at an edge.
A circle changes how a room feels. It softens square corners and gives a bare patch of floor beside the bed a small hearth of its own. Slide a desk chair onto it and it works as a chair mat with far more personality than clear plastic.
The Design: Hearth Fire Meets Tilework
The art borrows from illuminated manuscripts and old carpet medallions. Calcifer's flame glows orange and gold against midnight blue, while scrolling vines, tiny red flowers and cream blossoms wind around him. Four black pans of bacon and eggs sit on the diagonals, a wink at the breakfast he cooks in the film. Cracked eggshells, blue teardrop charms and smoking brick chimneys fill the gaps between them. Quartered medallions in red, green and blue mark the top and bottom. The outer band turns deep forest green and repeats small Calcifer faces, bundles of firewood tied with red ribbon and gold stars. Ornate yet warm, it rewards a long look.

The rug is cut in a true circle. Its soft plush, low-pile surface feels gentle under bare feet and stays out of the way of doors and chair legs.
