My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
Canute stands crowned at the center of this Vinland Saga round rug, hands resting on the hilt of a sword while a gold sunburst blazes behind his long blond hair. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a crimson-and-ivory border of crowns and ravens rings an inner band of towers, thrones and crescent moons, and the young king holds the middle.
A circle suits this piece because the whole composition already radiates outward. It softens the hard corners of a square room, and the medallion stays readable whether it sits in front of an armchair, beside a bed or under a desk. Slide a chair across it and the king stays framed, which is why it also works as a chair mat.
The Design: Heraldry in the Round
This is a stillness piece rather than a battle scene. Canute wears an ermine-trimmed cloak of deep crimson over a black coat stitched in gold, and his cold, level stare is the calmest thing on the rug. Two banners with golden lions rise behind his shoulders, and a ring of ornate gold scrollwork holds him like a portrait in an illuminated manuscript.
Around him, eight small medallions repeat the symbols of a court: crows, twin-tower castles, empty thrones, crescent moons with stars, and upright crosses on navy grounds. The palette stays tight, with crimson, midnight navy, burnished gold and warm ivory, so the pattern feels rich without turning noisy. Fans of the northern saga can find more Vinland Saga round rugs in the same collection, though none of them read like this heraldic one.
Canute on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels pleasant under bare feet. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays put under a rolling chair or a dropped bag. When it needs a refresh, it is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried.
The dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the gold linework crisp and the crimson deep. As a round area rug it anchors a corner without demanding the whole room, and it makes a calm bedroom rug for anyone who likes their fandom dressed in velvet colors. In a smaller size it also works as an accent rug beside a bookshelf.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100 cm (39.4″), 120 cm (47.2″), 140 cm (55.1″), 160 cm (63″) and 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed. The 120 and 140 cm sizes fit a reading nook or a corner of a bedroom, and the 160 and 180 cm sizes can serve as the center of a seating area, where the full border of crowns and ravens shows.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the crimson and gold of the king's cloak will stay put.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so Canute stays centered even when a chair rolls over him.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes. The low-pile surface lies flat over low-pile carpet, so the medallion stays smooth and the border does not curl.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm if you want the full court of ravens and castles to be seen across a room.
