This Crouching Metagross shaped rug presents the steel-blue character low to the ground in a wide stance, with four legs spread around the central body and the silver X crossing the face. The rug is die-cut to the artwork’s outline, so the broad claws, raised leg sections and central body create the perimeter instead of a rectangle.
Its horizontal shape sits naturally in front of a desk, beneath a low shelf or along the side of a bed. Blue-grey surfaces, dark navy edging and the bright metallic-looking face mark give the piece a controlled mechanical weight.
