Artorias the Abysswalker lunges forward on all fours, greatsword raised high, his broken arm hanging and black tendrils of the Abyss tearing from his armor. This Dark Souls MTG playmat captures the knight's tragic, feral fighting style in the ruins of Oolacile. Blue light crackles along his armor seams. He has already been lost.
Murky teal, charcoal and moss tones fill the mat, lit by prismatic flares and a pale glow behind the knight. Artorias fills the center. Darker ruins and blue roses frame both sides without crowding cards.
The Art: Abysswalker Ink
Aggressive ink splatter and loose brushwork make the Abyss look like it's eating through the paper. Detailed line work defines the armor plates, plume and blade. Gold leaf veins slice through the background like cracks in reality. Black roses with blue centers sit in the corners, a gothic touch that suits this doomed knight perfectly. Behind him, crumbling columns hint at the fallen city of Oolacile.
