My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
The Fabulous Hudson Hornet — navy blue, white lettering, kicking up dust on a dirt track. Doc's eyes are focused, determined, mid-race inside a cream scalloped medallion. Dust and gold leaf splatter across the background like someone froze the moment mid-slide. The border is deep navy and gold with trophies, checkered flags, and "Hornet" pennants tucked between ornamental scrollwork. The palette is midnight blue, antique gold, and warm brown — heavy, classic, and full of history. Available as an area rug or chair mat in several sizes, and it gives our Lightning McQueen rugs their wisest, most vintage face.
Doc's Place in the Room
The navy and gold palette reads vintage and refined. The XXL (5×7 ft) fills a bedroom or family room with weight. The XL (4×6 ft) fits beside a bed or in a study area. The L (3.3×5 ft) works in a hallway or reading nook. Navy pairs with leather, dark wood, and brass details. The gold trophies catch warm lamp light. It doesn't read as a kids' rug unless you look close — and that's the point. Among our cartoon rugs, it suits a grown-up headboard as easily as a race-car bed.
Built Like a Legend
Dye-sublimation bonds the navy, gold, and brown tones deep into the fiber. The dirt-track dust effect stays textured. The checkered flags stay sharp. No fading or cracking through months of daily use. Anti-slip base holds firm. Standard velvet (5mm) is flat and clean. Premium plush (7mm) is softer. Both handle traffic and time without losing a shade.
For the Fan Who Knows Doc's Story
Doc Hudson isn't just a character — he's the mentor, the legend, the one who changed McQueen. If your kid connects with that, or if you're the parent who cried during Cars 3, this rug carries that story. It's a rug about respect earned the hard way.
The Legend Lives on Other Surfaces
This Doc Hudson design is also available as a mouse pad in 8 sizes. Pair it with one of our Lightning McQueen mouse pads so the desk carries the same navy-and-gold race-day feel as the floor. Got a custom design idea? Message us — we'll make it happen.
