Eevee sits at the center of this Pokemon round rug, ears up and mouth open in a happy little cry, on a cream medallion edged in gold. Around it, eight scalloped panels carry the emblems of its evolutions: a water drop, a lightning bolt, a flame, a snowflake, a leaf, a sun, a crescent moon and a pink bow. The whole composition is laid out for the circle, with every ring sitting concentrically so nothing is lost at the edge.
A circle softens a room full of right angles. It settles beside a bed, fills a reading nook or sits in front of a shelf of collectibles, anywhere a rectangle would feel boxy. Small, warm and a little ornate, it gives the floor a focal point without shouting.
The Design: Eight Elements, One Eevee
The artwork borrows the look of an illuminated manuscript page. Deep teal fills the background, thin gold linework traces every scallop, and tiny cream flowers with green sprigs climb between the panels.
