Ein sits dead center, ears up and head tilted, in this Cowboy Bebop round rug that frames the data dog like the heart of an old-world carpet. Scrollwork, satellites, floppy disks and drifting music notes fill a cream field around him, and the whole artwork is laid out for the circle, with a teal paw-print border closing the edge.
A circle softens a square room in a way a rectangle never does. Slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat that still looks like a proper rug, with the corgi peeking out between the chair legs. Or set it beside a bed, where your feet land on that tilted smile first thing in the morning.
The Design: Carpet Meets Bebop
The idea is simple and a little sly: take a traditional medallion carpet and fill it with the world of the show. Teal, mustard gold, rust red and warm cream carry the palette, softly aged as if the rug has lived on a ship's floor for decades. Ein wears a red collar with a gold tag. Paw prints sit inside diamond cartouches at the top and bottom, bones mark the left and right sides, and bowls, retro monitors with green text, floppy disks and satellites repeat in mirrored pairs around the center. A small red spacecraft crosses on each flank, while ribbons of sheet music curl between the flourishes as a nod to the jazz that runs through the series.
