Erza stands dead center on this Fairy Tail round rug, both hands resting on the hilt of a long sword, her scarlet hair falling past silver plate armor and a navy pleated skirt. The artwork is laid out for the circle, so everything around her radiates outward like a cathedral window in crimson, navy and warm cream.
A circle softens the hard corners of a room in a way a rectangle never will. This one looks right tucked under a desk chair, anchoring a bookshelf corner or sitting beside a bed where you see it first thing in the morning. It gives the floor a focal point.
The Design: Heraldic Armor Medallion
The border is a deep red band edged in navy, with swords and fleur-de-lis marching around the full rim. Inside it, a cream field is packed with scrolling leaf ornaments in red and navy, the kind of detail you would expect on an old guild banner. Four laurel-ringed guild emblems sit at the diagonals, two red shields hold the same mark, and silver breastplates mark the top and bottom of the circle. Feathered wings spread out on the left and right, while a ring of blades fans behind Erza like rays of light. Then there are the four slices of strawberry cake, a small wink at her famous sweet tooth that keeps the heavy armor theme from feeling too serious.
