EVA-08 Rose Playmat - Evangelion MTG Mat
Evangelion Unit-08 fills the center of this EVA-08 MTG playmat, swept-back horns framing a grinning, armored face with glowing green eyes. Pink and white plating stacks across its chest and shoulders, stamped with caution labels. Behind it, rose-tinted schematics, Japanese warning text and full-body line drawings fill the background.
Soft pink, white and charcoal make this one of the most cheerful mats we carry, though the grin keeps it a little menacing. Orange accent lights on the shoulders add warmth at the edges. Huge EVA-08 lettering fades into the background, and the face in the center catches the eye first.
The Art: Rose Watercolor Schematic
Washes of pink and magenta bleed across textured paper, and confident black ink outlines hold every armor plate in place. Side panels carry WILLE markings, spec tables and long-limbed figure studies of the unit, a nice nod to its later forms. Thin gold lines trace the silhouette. Mari fans will appreciate how much of her unit's personality comes through in the face alone.
