Product Description
A hooded Ewok stands on a mossy mound at the heart of this Star Wars round rug, spear planted beside him while redwoods and ferns crowd in behind. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a forest portrait in the center, then a ring of thatched treehouses, campfires, drums and crossed spears, all held inside a gold and near-black leaf border.
Circles change how a floor feels. They soften the straight lines of a desk corner, tuck under a chair without a corner to catch, and give a reading nook or bedside a clear center. Under a desk it works as a chair mat that feels far kinder than hard plastic. Simple to place.
The Design: Redwood Village Ring
Think illuminated manuscript rather than movie poster. The composition works in rings, like a book of hours painted for a forest moon. At the center the Ewok wears a rust-orange hood and cloak and looks straight out at you, his fur painted strand by strand in browns and creams. Around him the second ring repeats a pattern: hooded cloaks in red-brown medallions, crossed spears on green panels, lantern-lit huts joined by rope bridges, a drum, a crackling fire. Gold compass stars sit between the panels.
The palette is moss green, rust orange, parchment cream and antique gold, with a near-black edge. It is warm and woodland rather than space-bound, which sets it apart from the usual starfield and starship artwork.
