Product Description
Two crimson serpents coil up either side of a winged cross, a small crown floats above it, and the whole emblem rests on a cream field thick with scrolling red blossoms. This Fullmetal Alchemist round rug lays the artwork out for the circle: the Flamel cross anchors the center, while a ring of ouroboros loops and gold stars runs around the rim. Red, parchment cream and antique gold carry the whole piece.
A circle does something a rectangle cannot, because it softens a square room and gives a mirrored design like this one a true center. Under a desk chair the cross stays in view while the chair moves around. As a chair mat for a study or gaming station, the medallion reads clearly from the seat.
The Design: Crimson Alchemy Circle
The look borrows from old manuscript pages and Baroque carpets rather than bright cartoon color. Acanthus scrollwork and deep red blooms fill the cream ground, mirrored left and right so the two serpents face each other across the staff. Four pocket watches sit at the diagonals, and gold six-pointed alchemical circles mark the top, bottom, left and right. Small red gems glow above and below the cross. The border is a crimson band set with black ouroboros rings and gold eight-pointed stars. Nothing here is loud, and that restraint is the point. Flamel on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels good underfoot and keeps the fine gold linework crisp. The rubber backing is non-slip, so the rug stays put on hardwood, tile and laminate. Color comes from dye-sublimation printing, which sets the dyes into the fibers instead of leaving a layer on top, so the crimson stays deep. When it needs a refresh, it is machine washable: gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. Cut as a true circle, it works as a round area rug in a study, a bedroom or beside a bookshelf.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes fit under a desk chair or beside a bed, and the smallest ones work as an accent rug by a reading chair. At 120 to 140 cm the rug fills a reading nook or a study corner, and the whole ring of ouroboros stays visible. Go to 160 or 180 cm when the serpents should be the center of a seating area. A bigger circle also makes a calm bedroom rug, with the cross facing the foot of the bed.
Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
