Flamingo Sunburst Round Rug - Mandala Circle Area Rug

Six coral flamingos ring a rising sun in this Flamingo Sunburst mandala round rug, their necks curved into mirrored pairs above and below the center. The artwork is laid out for the circle itself, with every ring, fan and shell repeating outward from the middle like a tiled Miami-deco plate.

A circle behaves differently on the floor than a rectangle does. It softens the hard corners of a square room, gives a bed a friendly landing spot on one side, and settles into the open space in front of an armchair without fighting the furniture lines.

The Design: Deco Flamingos in Pastel

Start at the middle. A pale aqua disc holds a yellow sun with fine rays, a fan of green palm leaves and one small coral shell, all framed by a stepped, ziggurat-style band in coral, cream and gold. That stair-step geometry is the art deco part. Around it, the mint-green field fills with swooping yellow and coral scrolls, more palm fans, aqua scallop shells and the flamingos themselves, each drawn with a thin dark beak and long, slender legs.

The palette stays light and warm: coral pink, mint, butter yellow and sea-glass aqua, with thin gold lines separating each ring. A coral border of white ribbon scrolls and round aqua beads closes the circle. Nothing here feels dark or heavy. It looks like a seaside hotel lobby in 1935, redrawn as a tidy, flat pattern. Used as a circle rug in a pale room, it becomes the one spot of color that everything else can follow.

Flamingo on the Floor

The rug is cut as a true circle, so the coral border lands exactly where the edge falls. The soft plush low-pile surface feels gentle underfoot, and the dye-sublimation print sets the pastel colors into the fibers instead of leaving them on top. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. When a spill or a muddy-paw day arrives, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. It lies flat over low-pile carpet as well. Placed beside the bed, it works as a cheerful bedroom rug that you step onto first thing in the morning.

Sizes & Rug Level

Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″). The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit a bedside, a vanity stool or the entry of a small bathroom, where the central sunburst stays visible. At 120 and 140 cm the flamingo pairs have room to breathe in a reading nook or a sunroom corner. The 160 and 180 cm sizes can anchor a seating area, with the full border showing around a coffee table.

Choose between two levels. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for regular use. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good pick for a busy hallway or a living room that sees constant foot traffic.

Quick Questions

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Wash it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the mint and coral stay bright because the print is set into the fibers.

Does it slip on hard floors?

No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the flamingo medallion stays put under bare feet and rolling stools alike.

Can I put it over carpet?

You can, as long as the carpet is low-pile. The rug lies flat, and the circular border keeps a clean outline against a neutral carpet.

Which size should I choose?

Go with 100 to 120 cm if you want to see the whole sunburst and all six birds beside a bed. Pick 160 cm or more when the rug should sit at the center of a room.
