Giratina coils at the center of a violet void, its red-and-black striped body wrapped in gold plates while six shadowy limbs with crimson tips fan out behind it. This Pokemon round rug is laid out for the circle: a medallion of floating islands, flames and spirals rings the serpent, and a teal border of black ribbons and gold scrollwork closes the edge.
A circle gives the scene room to breathe. It softens the corners of a square room, and under a desk it works as a chair mat that lets wheels glide across the printed spirals. Beside a bed or in front of an armchair, the dark palette pools like a night sky against lighter floors.
The Design: Distortion World Medallion
The artwork borrows the logic of an ornamental carpet and fills it with Distortion World imagery. Lavender cartouches hold tiny floating islands, flame motifs in plum and brick red alternate between them, and small gold stars drift across the void.
