My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
Twin cascades thunder down ochre cliffs on this waterfall mouse pad, while two spotted deer pause among peonies and a pair of magpies perch on a wind-bent pine. In the wider waterfall desk mat formats, a single bat wheels across the gold-leaf sky above misty peaks and blossoming branches, all arranged with the balance of an old scroll.
The amber-gold ground reads elegant rather than flashy, warming a minimalist or wood setup. It is a thoughtful choice for fans of classical Chinese art, or for anyone who likes a desk that feels serene at a glance.
Symbols hidden in the waterfall mouse pad
Nearly every creature in this scene carries a wish in Chinese tradition. Magpies are birds of joy, the bat is a pun on the word for good fortune, deer suggest prosperity, and the pine stands for long life, while peonies have been called the king of flowers. Painters of the meticulous gongbi style loved combining such symbols into one harmonious picture. This artwork follows that approach: layered ink washes model the cliffs and mist, and careful brushwork picks out pine needles, deer markings and feathers against the gold. Your eye moves from the falling water down to the deer, then along the pine to the birds.
Choose your waterfall desk mat size
- S: an 11.8″ × 15.7″ pad for mouse-only use.
- TCG Mat (14″ × 24″): a handy middle size for small desks or card games.
- XL to XXXL: a full waterfall desk mat beneath keyboard and mouse.
- Chair mats (S, M, L): floor coverage under a rolling chair.
Craft you can rely on
Micro-woven polyester cloth makes up the surface, offering a smooth glide that pairs with optical and laser mice. A 3 mm natural rubber foundation keeps it from moving, and precision-stitched edges are sealed against fraying. The HD print is fade-resistant, so the gold background and deep pine greens hold their tone.
Clean small marks with a damp cloth. For a deeper refresh, your waterfall mouse pad can go in the machine on a gentle cold or lukewarm cycle with mild detergent; afterward, let it air dry flat. Skip the bleach, skip the dryer, and never press an iron onto the print. Production starts with your order and takes 1–3 business days, followed by 2–5 business days of shipping.
More scroll-style scenes wait in our artwork mouse pad collection, alongside the wider selection of decorative desk mats. To echo the warm palette underfoot, take a look at our modern and abstract rugs.
