Product Description
Gon stands dead center with a fishing rod in one hand and a flame-wrapped fist raised in the other, grinning as if the next test is just another game. This Hunter x Hunter round rug wraps him in a cream field of curling green vines, and the whole pattern is laid out for the circle so the leafy border closes around him like a frame.
A circle softens the hard corners of a square room. It settles in beside a bed, in front of an armchair or under a desk chair, with Gon keeping watch over the spot.
The Design: A Hunter's Garden Carpet
The artwork borrows the look of an ornate garden carpet and fills it with Gon's world. Four slate-blue cartouches hold snowy mountain peaks at the compass points, and green frogs perch between the vines. Silver fish swim through the field and again around the outer ring, alternating with burnt-orange blossoms. Three round medallions show an open hand, a peace sign and a closed fist, a quiet nod to rock-paper-scissors. Pale card shapes sit at the sides, and ribbons of amber flame spiral out from Gon's fist and curl through the leaves.
Deep forest green, cream, burnt orange, amber and a cool slate blue make up the palette, so the piece reads warm from across the room and rewards a closer look. If one scene is not enough, you can browse the Hunter x Hunter rugs and see how the other designs handle the same cast.
Gon on the Floor
Underfoot, the rug is cut in a clean circle with a soft plush, low-pile surface that feels good against bare feet. A non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate, so the circle stays where you put it. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving them on top, so the greens and ambers stay crisp. When it needs a refresh, it is machine washable: a gentle cold cycle and an air-dry do the job. Under a desk, the 80 or 100 cm size works as a chair mat, with the border peeking out around the wheels. At 120 or 140 cm it becomes an accent rug for a reading nook or a kid's corner. Go to 160 or 180 cm and the piece anchors a seating area as a round area rug, the border framing the coffee table.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality, while Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
