My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
The Grim Reaper Gothic Smoke Rug leans fully into dark, atmospheric design. Centered on a hooded reaper gripping a long scythe, this floor mat layers deep navy and charcoal tones with swirling smoke and bare tree silhouettes. The result feels cinematic — moody, detailed, and grounded in gothic art. Within our hypebeast rugs, it stands at the darkest end of the range.
An ornate baroque-style frame surrounds the central figure, accented with subtle gold scrollwork that contrasts against the black and midnight blue backdrop. Around the outer border, scythe icons and shadowy ghost motifs repeat in a structured pattern, giving the piece balance despite its eerie theme. The smoke detailing drifts outward, softening the sharp lines of the skeletal imagery and adding visual depth.
This rug works especially well in a gaming setup, music studio, or street-inspired bedroom where darker palettes dominate. Next to a bed with dark linens, it is one of the moodiest picks among our bedroom rugs. If you’re into expressive graffiti-style art or statement pieces that carry strong symbolism, this one brings a heavier aesthetic without feeling cluttered.
Highlights:
• Dark navy and charcoal colorway
• Hooded reaper with detailed scythe motif
• Gothic smoke effects and bare tree silhouettes
• Ornate baroque frame with subtle gold accents
• Fade-resistant high-definition print
Choose Your Comfort Level:
Standard
• Shiny velvet surface
• 5mm thickness with 2mm foam support
• Faux leather non-slip backing
Premium
• Soft plush surface with added cushion
• 7mm thickness with 3mm foam core
• Cotton backing for a more grounded feel
Both options include stitched edges, a crisp HD print, and machine washable construction (gentle cycle, air dry, no bleach, no dryer). Built to handle everyday foot traffic while keeping the dark tones rich and defined.
Thanks to the non-slip backing, this wall-art-style design delivers durability without sacrificing detail. For a matching dark desk setup, pair it with one of our hypebeast mouse pads.
Care Instructions:
Wash cold on gentle and air dry flat. Avoid high heat to preserve the depth of the navy and black shades.
Q: Is the design overly glossy?
A: No. The finish maintains clear detail without an artificial shine.
