My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
Fragmented figures and sharp, angular shapes fill this Guernica mouse pad in tones of gray, charcoal and soft white. Rolled out as a Guernica desk mat, the monochrome composition stretches across your workspace with all the tension of the famous mural, giving a modern desk a serious, gallery-like edge.
It suits people who see art as more than decoration: students of modern art, illustrators, history readers and gamers who prefer a black-and-white setup to bright color. Because there is no strong hue anywhere, this Guernica desk mat pairs easily with neutral gear and metal or concrete desk surfaces.
Why the Guernica mouse pad still carries weight
The painting behind this design was created in 1937 as a response to the bombing of the Basque town of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War. Its broken bodies, open mouths and splintered light turned a single attack into one of the most recognized anti-war images of the twentieth century. The deliberate absence of color makes it feel like a newspaper photograph, stark and urgent. Keeping it within reach is a quiet reminder that art can speak about the world instead of simply decorating it.
Choose the Guernica desk mat size that fits
- L (11.8″ × 31.5″): a long, slim strip for keyboard and mouse on a shallow desk.
- XXL (23.6″ × 35.4″): extra depth so more of the composition stays readable.
- XXXL (19.7″ × 39.4″): a wide panel for a dual-monitor workstation.
- S chair mat (31.5″ × 47.2″): protection for hard floors under a desk chair.
Build quality and everyday care
The surface is a micro-woven polyester cloth that works with optical and laser mice and keeps movement smooth. A 3 mm natural rubber backing holds it in place, while precision-stitched edges keep threads from unraveling. An HD print with fade resistance protects the fine gray gradients.
Light marks lift off the gray surface with a damp cloth. For a full refresh, run a gentle wash cycle at a cold or lukewarm setting with mild detergent, then spread the mat out to air dry flat. Bleach, dryers and irons should never touch the monochrome print. We make every Guernica mouse pad on demand within 1–3 business days, and the parcel then needs 2–5 business days to arrive.
