Product Description
Infernape drops into a low, wide battle stance at the heart of this Pokemon round rug, flames streaming from his head and wrists across a cream field of swirling fire. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a central medallion, then rings of crimson panels, mountains and sunbursts, all held inside a deep teal border.
A circle changes how a room reads. It softens square corners, gives a bedside spot a clear center and settles under a desk without any edges to line up. Used as a chair mat, the medallion sits right where your feet land and the fire monkey stays in view.
The Design: Persian Fire Medallion
Most Pokemon art is bold and cartoon-bright. This one borrows the language of an old Persian carpet instead. Infernape crouches inside a pale parchment disc, ringed by curling red and orange flames that look almost woven. Around him, cream cartouches show mountain peaks, crimson panels hold flame-wrapped gold staffs, and amber crystals sit between small lotus-like fire blooms.
The outer border is where the palette turns cool. Deep teal, gold rings and tiny licks of fire repeat all the way around, so the warm center glows against it. Look closely and you will spot sunbursts rising behind the peaks at the top and bottom of the design.
