Product Description
Jotaro Kujo stands at the center of this JoJo round rug, one arm extended and a finger leveled straight at you, while Star Platinum looms behind him with both fists drawn back. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a navy, star-scattered medallion holds the pair, and everything else wraps around them in rings of gold, cream and teal.
A circle behaves differently on the floor than a rectangle does. It softens the hard corners of a bedroom or den, slides neatly under a desk chair, and gives a spot beside the bed a clear center. With a figure facing outward, it works almost like a poster you can stand on.
The Design: Chains, Clocks and Waves
This is not a flat panel of character art. The whole piece is built like an ornate tile medallion, closer to a cathedral window than a manga page. Jotaro wears his black gakuran with the gold chain looping across the chest and the cap pulled low, and his scowl does the rest. Behind him Star Platinum glows in violet, with gold shoulder guards, a red scarf and a wild mane of dark hair that bleeds into the night sky.
Look past the figures and the details keep coming. A rim of gold chain links and stars circles the edge in deep blue. Two pocket watches sit near the top, both hands pinned to twelve, a quiet nod to stopped time. Teal ocean waves curl through four corners of the ring, and smaller roundels hold gold stars, his cap and clenched fists. Ribbons of gold and aqua swirl around the central pair like wind.
